Tesla vs. Lovecraft is a wonderful and creative twin-stick shooter that manages to stand out from the crowd in what is something of an oversaturated genre. Despite the small reservation I have with the game's initial difficulty level, everything else — its art style, sountrack, gameplay and overall atmosphere — adds up to make a truly worthwhile experience. It might just be one of 10tons' best.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider leaves a little to be desired as the final instalment in this reboot series, but the trilogy all together is a strong and fantastic series. It's worth picking up and playing if, for no other reason, than to share in Lara's incredible adventures one more time.
Even with its few limitations, Omensight was love at first sight for me.
Aside from its minor control issues, Sushi Striker is a welcome addition to my growing Nintendo Switch collection and I'm sure it will be for many others. I can't wait to get back to it, but first I'm going to go pick up that sushi I ordered.
Despite its annoying stealth sections, My Memory of Us is a truly touching platformer that uses beautiful artwork and clever puzzles to weave a rich narrative. It may not be perfect, but Patrick Stewart’s stellar narration is enough to forget any minor niggles.
Broken Toys isn’t perfect, but its dialogue is superb, its pacing is fluid and its gameplay is fun and engaging. Stick with The Walking Dead to the end, and I have no doubt you’ll be happy with the result.
My Time at Portia takes a lot of positive notes from popular farming simulators like Stardew Valley and Minecraft, and puts its own creative spin on things.
I wasn’t particularly fond of feeling like I was watching an anime without being able to take a break between each episode, but I’d have to be an idiot to not see that Steins;Gate Elite is still one of the best visual novels out there.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker – Special Episode gives players even more opportunities to challenge themselves to find every piece of treasure there is on each level. Its new challenges are a lot of fun, and they’re different enough from the original game that it doesn’t feel like you’re merely treading old ground.
The Nintendo Switch version of Istanbul is a fantastic board game adaptation. It takes some time to figure out exactly how it works, but it’s worth putting the time into as you’ll be rewarded with an engaging and entertaining experience.
Taking only three or four hours to complete, Sea of Solitude is a lovely, thought-provoking adventure game with a compelling narrative and smooth gameplay. It’s a worthy addition to anyone’s game library.
With only some other minor issues, Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank is a fun bite-sized adventure that would work as a great entry point into the point-and-click genre.
If you’re a fan of the deck-building genre, Dicey Dungeons will keep you coming back for more.
In the end, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is just as fantastic as it was upon its initial release. From its Ghibli-illustrated cutscenes, to its brilliant world and characters you can’t help but fall in love with, it remains one of the finest JRPGs of recent years.
Neo Cab is a captivating story-driven game that gives a glimpse at what a world practically run by robots might look like. With a wonderful art style, a fascinating setting and a story that’ll instantly grab you, it’s well worth taking a ride with.
A few niggles aside, Twice Circled should be very proud of its charming simulation game. Although its graphics are simplistic, the game speaks for itself with its entertaining gameplay. Once you get the hang of all its systems, Megaquarium is a lot of fun. If you enjoy management sims, I guarantee that you’ll lose numerous hours in designing your dream aquarium.
Sir Daniel Fortesque looks great after so many years; for players looking forward to jumping back into those bones, they surely won’t be disappointed.
Still There is a pleasure to play and one that will stick with you for a long time after.
While Super Crush KO isn’t perfect, it’s hard to play without a smile on your face. Brawlers aren’t usually my cup of tea, but this title is smooth, exciting, fun and a real joy to play.
