Although it's arguably the definitive version of the game, the next-generation iteration of Skylanders: Swap Force is nearly identical to its console-based predecessors. Those who enjoy family friendly action-platformers, and have been waiting for this release, will surely find a lot to enjoy. However, there's no reason to upgrade if you've already purchased and played through the title on another device.

With Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, Nintendo had a great opportunity to produce something fantastic. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is a very solid game that could've been great if its developers had utilized more outside-of-the-box thinking during development. It's tried and true, but suffers from over-use of the "safe approach."

Don't expect anything great or unforgettable from Chaos Rising, the third and most lacklustre episode of Dead Rising 3's Untold Stories of Los Perdidos mini-narrative. It's formulaic in its likeness to its predecessors, and is simply a middle of the road offering.
