8 / 10.0 - Rebel Galaxy
Jan 19, 2016

Rebel Galaxy looks at space in a way that's rarely ever seen, with the exception of games like Elite: Dangerous, and offers a refreshing universe exploring journey. There's plenty of content to keep you occupied and it's all enjoyable, especially the dog fights.

Full Mojo Rampage doesn’t set itself apart much from the roguelike crowd, but stitches together a few nuances that give it an edge over similar titles.

Some slippery controls aren't enough to hold back this gorgeous and interesting ball of fur (we think it's a ball of fur).

8 / 10.0 - Unravel
Feb 10, 2016

Unravel wowed us when it was first announced and its safe to save the loving man of yarn has brought a heartfelt story to the next gen. While its puzzles slowly lose and sense of challenge, the stunning environments more than make up for it.

If you're looking for a fun and inviting JRPG to pass the time within, then why not give Grand Kingdom a try, you won't be disappointed.

Shaking the Hive is a much welcomed and needed addition since we’ve waited a long time for its release since Blues and Bullets initial outing. It is always difficult to say whether or not an experience that lasts an hour or two is worth it if we have to wait half a year to get our hands on another segment of it, although the experience is definitely worth the price of admission.

8 / 10.0 - Good Robot
Apr 4, 2016

In essence, Good Robot is an all round well polished twin stick shooter. With its procedurally generated environments and its wealth of enemies, you are sure to be entertained for hours on end.

Resident Evil 7 is a horror game that has jumped on the bandwagon of “run and hide” survival horror and added their own twist. And they’ve done well. The unsettling and intimate environment, the crazy “Texas Chainsaw” family, and the realistic scenery all combine into one to create a truly immersive and terrifying experience.

8 / 10.0 - Human: Fall Flat
May 8, 2017

With fantastic level design, the fumbling humorous Human, and even the partially absent soundtrack, Human: Fall Flat is a blast to play. Although short-lived--your play time could vary as it is a puzzle game--Human: Fall Flat is a most welcomed momentary distraction to the more serious and heavy AAA games we have been recently getting flooded with.

Slain: Back from Hell has certainly proven itself worthy of Beelzebub himself. I thankfully managed to dodge the bullet that was Slain’s initial release but there seems to be nought wrong whence it came back from hell.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a huge plus in my book for narrative storytelling, world building and more, so get out there and try it for yourselves.

The Evil Within 2 plays out more like an action game than a survival horror. All the elements that it has in place take away from the restrictive close confines of traditional horror games and broadens the spectrum but lessens the atmosphere and impact a survival horror game should have.

8 / 10.0 - Super Cloudbuilt
Jul 31, 2017

And that is really Super Cloudbuilt in a nutshell. A fast paced rollercoaster ride that has its ups and downs. The main selling point is that of speed, precision, and style. If you're a fan of quick platformers that have more awe than punch then Super Cloudbuilt is right up your dream-laden alley.

7.5 / 10.0 - Sym

Sym straddles the subject of anxiety in a subtle and almost nuanced way, but it offers little in the way of replay value.

7.5 / 10.0 - Ironcast
Feb 26, 2016

Ironcast is a neatly compiled amalgamation of various video game genres and is fairly intuitive to boot. It's easy enough to boot up and jump straight in without much handholding.

7.5 / 10.0 - Fallout 4
Dec 17, 2015

Fallout 4 retreads far too much old ground to really justify its existence. Even the potential withing this sprawling map is not enough to entice a player enough to toy with wonky A.I. or repeat mundane tasks endlessly.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Witness
Sep 22, 2016

Even though The Witness can become a bit of a slog at times with an obscene amount of puzzles - which border or repetitive - and the ability to easily lose your bearings, it's definitely one you should at least dip your mind into, if only for an hour.
