6.5 / 10.0 - Sonic Forces
Nov 18, 2017

Sonic Forces is by no means a career-killing disaster like Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric or Shadow the Hedgehog were, but it still a disappointment after all the wonderous hours of fun Mania offered.

When compared to the other HD ports that SNK, SS5S is not as inspiring as the likes of Garou or Windjammers. Nonetheless, it’s a going at a reasonable price-tag (with PS4/Vita cross-buy too!) and perhaps purchasing it will give SNK some incentive to try bringing to series in a new instalment. Samurai Shodown deserves it as much as, if not more than SNK’s other titles.

9 / 10.0 - Sonic Mania

Seeing the all-over improvement that Guardians has made over Batman, shows that TTG seem serious about making good superhero story games. It remains to be seen if this quality can be kept up in later episodes, particularly if we are only playing as Quill throughout them, but TTG have done enough to warrant me purchasing another episode at the very least.

In an era of innovation for RPGs, Godseekers is lacking in a lot and even struggles to play to the strengths of the more thrilling main series. Unless you’re a die-hard Dynasty Warriors fan, you should seek another tactical RPG that’ll likely do a more interesting spin on the genre.
