Nintendo has done it again. If previous Super Mario games were not short of accolades themselves, Super Mario Odyssey not only incarnates their magic but also stands tall next to the giants of gaming with its new, unique and simply unforgettable experience that takes Mario into a whole new dimension of gameplay. Every single element of Super Mario Odyssey exudes all the dedication and craftsmanship that went into its production and which make this masterpiece one of the greatest games of all time.

Shantae's arrival to the Nintendo Switch does not happen with an original game but rather with a direct port of Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Nothing here is new other than the HD Rumble feature...but there is absolutely nothing to complain about, the game is as marvelous as it was and its superb visuals, level design and gameplay mechanics represent some of the very best to be found in the Metroidvania style.

Blasphemous on the Nintendo Switch stands out right away with its fantastic pixel art depicting a desolate and inhospitable scenario. But there's a lot more to Blasphemous than its marvelous visual environment, the game has an amazing combat mechanic and its Metroidvania design coupled with platforms provides a world that is well worthy to explore, even after the game's main quest is completed.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons marks the return of the much appreciated series to a Nintendo home console and this new episode is an achievement in every way. With its familiar formula but adding some new mechanics, New Horizons features a fantastic sense of progression, a lot of generosity in its rewards and puts the player in a wonderful environment, all these being major pillars of creating a marvelous experience where we most expect it.

Quest of Dungeons has all the good elements that make it a recommendable game: it's fun, simple to get into and fun to play. Even if some rooms start looking a bit repetitive after a while, Quest of Dungeons is addictive and very well designed for short, intense sessions.

Torna starts from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and achieves the enviable feat of improving on the original game's experiences, namely on the level of the combat system, allowing for more alternatives, as well as on the game's plot and opening more elements that will grab the players' attention. A very recommended additional experience, especially for those who are already versed in the original game.
