Howdy.
6 / 10.0 - The Long Reach
Oct 2, 2018

A quirky horror title that's too big for its own boots.

6 / 10.0 - Fallout 76
Nov 27, 2018

An overblown Fallout 4 mod that's overpriced and buggy, yet still houses an enjoyable experience inside.

Dangerously overpriced surrealist horror.

5.5 / 10.0 - Q.U.B.E. 2
Mar 21, 2018

A puzzler more interested in its own cerebral thoughts than player enjoyment, Q.U.B.E. 2 is a vastly underwhelming title that is only saved by its gorgeous visuals.

5 / 10.0 - How to Survive 2
Oct 7, 2018

While it's nice to have more of the same, How to Survive 2 is in desperate need of a change sooner rather than later.

While it's nice to see Treyarch "change-up" the formula, in the largest quotations possible, this is still a limp-wristed attempt. It's a pathetic husk of the once-great Call of Duty series that fails to be worth the money or time.

5 / 10.0 - Earthfall
Dec 19, 2018

An attempt to carry on the legacy of Valve and Turtle Rock falls flat, with a small amount of attention paid to the elements that matter. Poor mission design and A.I is what ruins this experience.

A rather humdrum, err, Hyper Light Drifter clone, that falls just short of being one of the best RPGs of 2018.

5 / 10.0 - Call of Cthulhu
Nov 6, 2018

While Call of Cthulhu has the confidence to keep you involved, it never ever leads to anything bountiful, leaving you with a game that doesn't offer enough.

The king of battle royale has fallen victim to regicide.

4.5 / 10.0 - Shape of the World
Sep 5, 2018

A weird title. It's not an overwhelmingly good walking simulator, it's not an outrageously bad exploration game, it's just... there.

A really confusing title that struggles to find an audience.

As much as Genesis Alpha One tries its best to keep you entertained, it's an admittedly ugly experience, both visually and mechanically. The lack of ambition or context given to gameplay makes it one to avoid.

A surprisingly barebones, unrewarding and hateful rogue-like title that doesn't have the right amount of polish applied, and lacks the edge in gameplay to truly one-up its contemporaries.

3.5 / 10.0 - Sea of Thieves
Mar 27, 2018

Whatever promise Sea of Thieves had at the beginning falters soon after, to the point where this is a hot contender for The Most Boring Game of 2018.

3.5 / 10.0 - Dynasty Warriors 9
Feb 21, 2018

The first-time attempt to make Dynasty Warriors open-world is valiant, yet ultimately makes the entire game lifeless.

3 / 10.0 - SYMMETRY

An interesting experiment game that is currently near-impossible, and is in desperate need of a few tweaks.

A confusing clash of ideologies and design choices is what ruins this games potential, turning it into one of the more boring and aggravating Dark Souls clones out there.

2 / 10.0 - Rise of Insanity

One of the most boring, insipid horror games you'll ever play.
