Gaming since the 90s, hoping for Mega Man Legends 3 to come out one day.

Life is Strange has a profound history of delivering emotionally charged tales thanks to well-written characters and deeply personal stories. Whether it was Max reconnecting with her childhood friend Chloe, Chloe learning to find happiness again with Rachel Amber, or Sean trying to keep his brother Daniel safe. Each story offered challenging decisions focused on personal connections and Life is Strange True Colors does not disappoint. In fact, it improves on many of the previous game's shortcomings by adjusting the pacing with less padding. The narrative does have some major predictable moments during the finale relies heavily on plot armor. Despite this Life is Strange: True Colors delivers an excellently crafted adventure and the best installment in the franchise.

90 / 100 - Kitaria Fables
Sep 2, 2021

Kitaria Fables takes a lot of concepts found in traditional RPGs and combines them for an outstanding fantasy adventure. With the protagonist attempting to repel rising darkness and learning why magic is such a taboo subject. It doesn’t attempt to reinvent the wheel with its systems but instead took what worked in other games of similar genres and used them to create a brand new adventure. Kitaria Fables doesn’t have a lot of original qualities but combines them into one amazing adventure.

80 / 100 - Tormented Souls
Aug 27, 2021

Tormented Souls attempts to capture the classic survival-horror experience, often using titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill as a reference. The result is a well-executed horror title that provides chilling moments and complex puzzles to solve while exploring a beautiful yet dangerous mansion. But due to the developer's over-reliance on these classic games, Tormented Souls has a difficult time establishing itself, instead of remaining in the shadows of the titles it draws inspiration from. Despite this Tormented Souls has everything a survival-horror fan could want.

Protagonist Mo must travel through various islands to try and resolve the issue while battling her own demons. The gameplay is simple and exploration limited but Minute of Islands succeeds in delivering a dark emotional journey worth experiencing.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... isn't a remake, but instead an update of the original game with small improvements, new content, and rehauled visuals. Showcasing how the original game's narrative still holds up today and gives those who experienced NieR Automata a chance to experience the tale before 9S, 2B, and A2. There are some archaic elements that rely on tedious traveling and item collecting but despite this NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... has the same emotionally charged elements that made NieR Automata such a monumental game.
