7 / 10.0 - Manual Samuel
Sep 19, 2018

Manual Samuel is an adventure game for a specific type of player, who is fond of dark humor with a huge dose o absurdity. With brilliant dialogues and unique characters set in a grotesque world, the game manages to give some good laughs throughout its very short game time. Entertaining local co-op makes Manual Samuel a perfect addition to games for Switch.

7 / 10.0 - Mushroom Wars 2
Jul 19, 2018

Mushroom Wars 2 is an addictive game suitable for players who want to practice their strategic skills in short, but challenging battles. Perfect for travelling with Nintendo Switch in full version, it only fails to utilize the touch screen to improve the game controls. Hero skills and mission variability compensate the lacking story.

Catie in MeowmeowLand takes players on a surreal journey full of humor and absurd characters, set in a grotesque Kitty-Wonderland that would make Lewis Caroll raise his eyebrows. A true gem for cat-lovers and kids alike.

Burning Shores once again explores the theme of loneliness of a protagonist who must bear the fate of the entire world on her shoulders. However, the short gameplay of the DLC offers limited space for addressing the character's relationship issues. For fans of the series, Burning Shores offers a good excuse to return to the world filled with robotic monsters with a few new challenges. Nevertheless, the DLC fails to deliver a meaningful story and deeper character development that would make Burning Shores a must-play expansion for the players.

Coteries of New York is an interesting addition to Vampire: The Masquerade world. But with a short story and almost zero replayability value, it lacks the depth a story-driven game deserves.

The game gives us an opportunity to think like Tommy Shelby, yet gives us a real challenge only in it's final missions.

6.5 / 10.0 - Gwent: Rogue Mage
Aug 8, 2022

GWENT: Rogue Mage is an expansion suited for players who need new challenges, like to test their patience and improvise strategies. But because of a rather repetitive gameplay and disappointing story, it's a game that casual fans of Gwent can easily skip.

Folk tales of Through the Woods will scare you, but short and linear gameplay with invisible walls are its weak spots.

Detective Pikachu is certainly the boldest game in the Pokemon franchise, but delivers too little in the gameplay aspect. With a linear story and puzzles that lack challenge, the game is suited mostly for very young players.

Mage's Initiation takes inspiration from classic adventure/RPG games with beautiful 2D graphics and intriguing puzzles. However, the RPG and combat elements fall short as uninteresting and inconsequential. With an open ending and a shallow story, it feels as a mediocre beginning of a saga, tak could eventually reach the level of its spiritual predecessors.

6 / 10.0 - Tasomachi
May 6, 2021

Aimed mainly at compulsive collectors, Tasomachi offers a relaxing experience in a beautiful world with no combat and lots of exploring. Because of its clumsy platforming and lack of story, the game doesn't have a great impact or depth.

6 / 10.0 - 12 Minutes
Sep 9, 2021

Twelve minutes has an interesting gameplay concept. However its story is built on one shocking unraveling that lacks any depth and makes us go through pointless violence to cure a different trauma.

While the game's narrative aspect is truly engaging, it's difficult to appreciate all the dialogue options and plot twists with so many flaws that plague Vampire: The Masquerade ' Swansong. With grotesque facial animations, clumsy exploration options, lots of bugs and a lacking introduction to the World of Darkness, Swansong is a game for die-hard fans who are tired of waiting for Bloodlines 2.

The Devil in Me could have been a decent detective story with unexpected twists. It could have been a dissection of the mind of a perverted killer or a social commentary on the obsession with serial killers. Supermassive Games could have played mind games with players in the tradition of The Dark Pictures anthology. And yet, they chose to create a bland mixture of horror tropes in an otherwise intriguing setting and with a pretty good atmosphere.

The game combines hack-and-slash combat with stealth, but fails to satisfy in both aspects. Flawed AI a unimpressive graphics make it a mediocre introduction to the world of Werewolf: Apocalypse.

Just like with tabletop D&D, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance requires a party of friends to truly enjoy this buggy experience. Otherwise, it's just a source of frustration.
