After more than 10 years Capcom brings us a Devil May Cry game that truly topped our expectations. By adding a variety of new inovations into a well built formula, they created a game worth the wait.

Very good choice for new consoles, however not as special as it should be.

Horizon: Forbidden West builds on the solid foundations of Zero Dawn and does not only expand them, but stabilizes them by fixing a number of unnecessary shortcomings of the first game. Fixing some annoying mechanics, reworking combat, exploring and side quests are some of the positive changes that will be appreciated especially by players who have found the open world of Zero Dawn boring.

While remastering a game 3,5 years after its release is hard to justify, The Last of Us Part II Remastered still offers one of the best videogame experiences that now comes with the perks that PlayStation 5 has to offer. Even though most of the changes are cosmetic and graphics-wise barely make a difference, the roguelike No Return Mode brings a new challenge that may be worth the price, especially as an upgrade for players who own the original game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Moss
Apr 4, 2018

Moss ranks among games that were developed for VR not only for the effect, but to utilize it as a gameplay tool. This unique experience has only been spoiled by the short gameplay time.

Guilty Gear relies on it's timeless features - perfect gameplay and unique audiovisual experience a fighting game can offer. However, with only two games released on Switch, the series feels incomplete and only Accent Core Plus R is truly worthwhile.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning balances difficulty issues and shows it's magical world in 4K. The "MMORPG for introverts" is now available for current consoles, but PC players might stick to their copies of the original game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Moss: Book II
Apr 15, 2022

Polyarc has managed to once again captivate us with their story about a tiny mouse with the courage of a lion. With new gameplay mechanics and wonderful environments, the game will make you sit up from your chair. Not only to appreciate all the details, but because of the limitations of PS VR hardware that make tracking movement very tricky.

8.5 / 10.0 - Stray
Jul 22, 2022

Stray delivers much more than just a cat simulator. With its touching story and a message about humanity, the game teaches us to never lose hope even in the darkest time and enjoy every moment just like any cat would.

8.5 / 10.0 - Hogwarts Legacy
Feb 6, 2023

While Hogwarts Legacy doesn't bring anyting new to the the open-world action RPG genre, it manages to captivate players with its incredibly detailed world and fun activites. The game feels more like a theme park ride and offers an incredibly magical experience rather than a deep story. The game is full of references and even reimaginations of scenes from the Harry Potter films. Those magical moments of flying on a hippogriff, seeing the sun set behind Hogwarts and snow falling from the ceiling in the Great Hall will be etched in your memory.

The first episode of Life is Strange 2 brings a whole new story about two brothers trying to find a safe place in a world full of hate, racism and prejudice. The game lets you decide, whether they will keep their concience clear or ultimately loose their innocence while trying to survive. However interesting the plot may seem, the first episode suffers with slow pacing and plot decisions that lack real impact. Without much suspense or cliffhangers, the first episode doesn't leave us as hooked as it should.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Chant
Mar 9, 2023

The Chant not only fills a current hole in the horror action-adventure genre, but also manages to bring an original take on the genre thanks to the story and themes it opens up. The authors do not want to confirm or refute the effects of esotericism, but point out that in certain cases it is a double-edged sword.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is a game created by fans for fans. The team, consisting of modders and enthusiasts, aimed to bring Lara's original adventures into the modern world. However, the gameplay of these '90s gems has not aged well, and our impressions of them have been largely influenced by nostalgia. While the modern controls and graphical upgrades suggest that this is a contemporary game for a modern audience, it's more likely that the games will be primarily enjoyed by those nostalgic for the original titles.
