60 / 100 - Slam Land
Aug 28, 2018

SLAM LAND combines a great art style with a decently fun couch co-op basketball hybrid game, in which dunking your friends and objects in the only objective in the game. Although there is a decent amount of content here, the lack of unlockables and no online play gives little incentive to come back to or continue playing SLAM LAND.

Overall LEGO The Incredibles is an alright game that truly delivers on collecting and charm. It's always fun to see some great franchises get the LEGO treatment, but the gameplay falls short from the same mechanics as previous LEGO titles. However, LEGO The Incredibles is geared to fans of LEGO games and unlocking iconic characters from the Incredibles universe. Kids will love this game and will have hours of fun. As for advanced or adult gamers, this game has its highs and lows and is exactly what it was meant to be…A game for kids.

75 / 100 - Pool Panic
Aug 13, 2018

Pool Panic is an unexpected take on the classic game of pool. Combining the weird and silliness of Adult Swim with a sports puzzler type game makes for fun and enjoyable gameplay. The art style and attention to detail work nicely, and adds an unexpected depth to this wacky game!

Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers brings a quality and enjoyable tower defense style game in its third installment in the series. Although the story and cutscenes tend to drag, the overall gameplay is great fun. Even if you've never played a game in the Dillon series, I recommend giving this a try.

Super Mega Baseball 2 brings a great amount of arcade fun to this historical sport. With great mechanics and pick up and play gameplay, the game keeps you entertained and engaged. Since there it is not an MLB game you can't use real players or teams, but that doesn't stop the game from holding up as a respectable title.

75 / 100 - Immortal Redneck
May 10, 2018

Immortal Redneck is a fast paced FPS that has a lot of enjoyable aspects and replay value. With over 50 weapons to choose from, there is no lack of fun and exciting firepower at your disposal. The biggest problem I had with the game was the scroll system, repetitive temples, and what felt like an unrewarding grind. Overall, Immortal Redneck is well worth playing.

80 / 100 - Frost
Jul 17, 2018

Frost takes the deck-building and survival genres and mashes them together to create a truly challenging and strategic game. At times the game can feel unforgiving and overly hard, but requires players to actually think about their next move rather than rushing through a turn. The art style is beautiful ,and paired with an erie soundtrack creates an unsettling and true survival feeling.

Yo Kai Watch Blasters Red Cat/Blue Dog Corps offer a new way to experience the Yo Kai Watch series. With a new battle system that feels like a fast-paced action RPG, Blasters still delivers elements to the game that are both familiar and fresh. Having to talk to NPCs to level up and change teammates, as well as the frustrating RNG are among some of the few downsides to the game. However h, this doesn't take away from the great experience and gameplay that Yo Kai Watch Blasters has to offer. Fans of the series and newcomers will love this title.

Saturday Morning RPG is an extremely fun and heart-filled adventure, giving a great homage to the 80's. At $9.99 this game is definitely worth playing for the geekdom alone. I would have liked to play through even more adventures, but  I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually get some DLC with more episodes down the road. I hope everyone who plays this game enjoys it as much as I did!

Overall I loved Disco Dodgeball Remix. This wacky FPS dodge ball game keeps the fun coming with various game modes, high intensity music, and extremely entertaining gameplay. Although the art style looks a bit childish, it works for this game. Disco Dodgeball is a great game, and if you pre-purchase the game in the Nintendo eshop you can get the game for 20% off!
