Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is the perfect game for lovers of this franchise. A remarkable longevity and many playing cards ensure many hours of fun, despite the unforgivable laziness on the visual side.

7.8 / 10.0 - STATIONflow
Apr 18, 2020

STATIONflow is a fun and colorful management simulation of a subway station, with no high ambitions. The artificial intelligence is unfortunately mediocre and a profound management of economic resources is lacking.

XCOM Chimera Squad is a brillant spin-off which introduces a huge list of fresh new ways to play. AI and difficulty level are not perfectly balanced, but fun is guaranteed.

7.7 / 10.0 - Fly Punch Boom!
May 29, 2020

Fly Punch Boom! it's a fun and colorful smash bros like. It has an excellent online mode, thanks to the large community, but the lack of longevity undermines the fun over a long period..

Tour de France 2020 adds some new features, like a first-person view and the resistance management, but it is graphically old and too many problems cut off its wings.

8 / 10.0 - Neon Abyss
Jul 21, 2020

Neon Abyss is a solid and hilarious roguelite. Hundreds of weapons and items, however, are not enough to hide procedural generation laziness. But all things considered, it is still one of the best roguelites currently available.

7.5 / 10.0 - Tannenberg
Jul 31, 2020

Much like Verdun, its predecessor, Tannenberg offers an authentic and engaging First World War experience. Those who enjoy tactical, more realistic shooters will love it; everyone else should consider giving it a chance, but be warned that the game was made on a limited budget and it shows.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is extremely entertaining, and it's really hard not to fall in love with it. Bringing some friends is recommended, as it can lead to hilarious outcomes – and it helps during team games, too. With updates, it could easily go from a summer fad to a real mass phenomenon.

7.8 / 10.0 - Control: AWE
Aug 28, 2020

If you're waiting for Alan Wake to take a stroll in the corridors of the Oldest House, you might be disappointed by AWE. But if on the other hand what you're looking for is to shed a light on Alan's misadventures, face familiar foes and play an instrumental role in the writer's path to freedom, and also have an excuse to dive back into Control with new tools to play with, AWE is the right DLC for you.

Street Power Football is an underwhelming champagne football. Unpolished gameplay and the very high entry price make the game unaccessible, and the lack of a sense of progression, of a well-structured campaign mode and of online matchmaking ensures that there's little fun to be had.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is an incredible game full of content, capable of entertaining for a countless number of hours, especially considering the Definitive Edition includes all expansions. The porting, unfortunately, suffers from very poor optimization, and managing combat on a pad might prove a bit of a hurdle.

7.9 / 10.0 - NBA 2K21
Sep 12, 2020

Gameplay wise, NBA 2K21 is once again an excellent product, and the best basket videogame on the market (also due to lack of competition). While very similar to its predecessor, it is also evolved and revised. However, being a 2K title, microtransactions are inescapable.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake done with plenty of passion, and the charisma it oozes shows it. Hangar 13 rebuilt a great classic without losing track of the original work. Lost Heaven is a shining jewel and there's plenty of fun to be had. Character animations and the driving system can be a bit wonky sometimes, but those are minor issues in what is overall a great remake.

7.5 / 10.0 - Pumpkin Jack
Oct 24, 2020

Pumpkin Jack is a hilarious 3D adventure platformer, with clear and obvious references to MediEvil. But while the pace is good and the aesthetics charming, the repetition of the same gameplay loop becomes tedious already halfway through the game. The controls are also a bit slippery, but Pumpkin Jack is still a very enjoyable action platformer.

The remake of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is a success of style, fidelity and gameplay. Adding a few elements to the original, the game confirms itself as a milestone for a genre lost in time that finds a way to live anew.

Cobra Kai is an entertaining beat 'em up, colorful and faithful to the original, and also incredibly rewarding in co-op. It does, however, suffer from some annoying technical issues.

Football Manager 2020 is another confirmation of Sports Interactive's ability in crafting a great title every year. No revolution is to be expected, but many smaller improvements bring the game ever closer to technical perfection. FM 2021 is clean and optimized, probably also thanks to the fact that the game will also release on Xbox One and Series X|S.

7 / 10.0 - Godfall
Nov 25, 2020

Godfall is not a title without its charms. The combat system is solid and satisfying, and technically, the game is great proof of PlayStation 5's potential. But cramming levels full of particles effects and shining lights does not necessarily make for good aesthetic design, and Godfall also suffers from a weak story and repetitive endgame.

A new chapter of Ryza's saga, Atelier Ryza 2 improves the combat system with the interesting Item Rush mechanic. Its longevity is also very good thanks to a wide veriety of activities, but those looking for a challenge might be disappointed by its difficulty. All in all, Atelier Ryza 2 is a game that shows the care and love that went into its making.
