I love writing about games and telling big jokes. You know, comedy. I'm also married to an incredible woman, own a lovingly disobedient Corgi, read a lot (albeit slowly), and watch way too much TV.

Pokémon Sword and Shield is not only a worthy start for the series on mainline consoles, but is quite possibly the best entry in the series. With the new Pokémon, Dynamax raids, gyms, and the expansive Wild Area, Pokémon Sword and Shield filled me with a joy I rarely feel playing games.

Though the Switch port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has made some obvious concessions to the visuals, it is a surprisingly good version of the acclaimed RPG -- and now it's portable!

Judgment is a weird, wild, and absolutely absurd journey through the streets of Kamurocho. While the mechanics can be clunky, and there are a few instances of gross writing, it's an excellent game to pick up and get lost in.

SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is a funny, charming deck-building RPG that laughs in the face of fantasy and adventure tropes. In the end, though, the game falls victim to repetitive gameplay and ends up overstaying its welcome.
