Ash Cohen's Reviews
Blood Waves is a game that I think has been kept very basic from the start. It doesn’t look good.
Ultimately, Pilot Sports is a game that for me had so much potential, and the ability to be a lot of fun.
Overall this game is so-so, if you are in the market for a quick adventure puzzle game or you want to get your child into this genre than I would recommend this game. Anyone looking for a challenge I would recommend you stay clear.
Pillar is a puzzle game set in a small snowy town where you take control of different personality traits in a series of mini-games. If you enjoy puzzle games you may squeeze a couple of hours out of the game but it just may not be that enjoyable.
Headspun is a title that I think has a great concept. But, the issues do lie there, and at the moment, makes it difficult to fully recommend this to anyone who wants to play a smooth game and not get frustrated with issues after 5 minutes.
For more modern gamers you may find this to slow and tedious so I would suggest if you’re looking for a fast paced game you would be best looking elsewhere.
Whilst this game is hard and a first playthrough could take you a while I do not believe that this has much to bring you back in. This does play into the overall price which at £4.99 is a good price for anyone who wants a hit from the past.
Overall The Surge 2 is a good Souls-like, nothing groundbreaking or genre breaking; just a solid challenging romp. I would definitely recommend this for people who enjoyed the original and even new people looking for a challenging single player experience.
Truberbrook is a game that I have personally quite enjoyed. It wont be for everyone, and if you`re not a fan of point and click games then you do need to stay away from this.
The Sinking City is a game that in parts, is good. There are parts that I have quite liked, and there are some parts I really haven’t liked and found myself being engaged in at all.
The King`s Bird is a beautiful ID title though that will find a core of gamers that love it. Just be prepared for some patience and learning.
War Tech Fighters is a game that in parts, is good. I enjoyed it on the whole. It`s something a bit different, and although it`s not going to offer you loads of replay ability and in short bursts it is good fun.
if you can look past that price, or if you are a simulation fan, then you`ll enjoy this because it does offer something more than a regular Simulation title.
It is a fun platformer that gives you a good variety in the levels and offers a unique platformer to play through.
The game is good, and I think what Mild Beast Games have done with it is good, but they need to sort out the apparent matchmaking issues that plague the game. But, at £12.79, if you tend to have quite a few friends over on an evening to play games, it is worth a pickup.
The concept is simple, and the concept is basic, but it’s a fun enjoyable concept, and not one that’s difficult to pick up either.
PBA Pro Bowling is a game that is enjoyable and fun – and I’ve enjoyed my time with. The career mode is good, and other modes likewise.
Perhaps for some people the story concept of the game may put some off, but what you do is a good story-driven conversational based game, which incorporates other influences and styles that you see in more mainstream games.
The controls feel good, the gameplay feels good, and I like the variety that`s on offer within it.
Train Sim World 2020 is a game though that does offer good variety and good enjoyment in its content, and at the standard price of £24.99 is not bad, given how much players could potentially get out of it.
