8.3 / 10.0 - Killing Floor 2
Sep 27, 2017

Killing Floor is still a crude game. It's not as refined as it should be. It still retains frustrating gameplay, overwhelming hordes and a big load of weapons sorted into specialisations. It's a great game if we have a team to play with. Playing solo or with random players from the internet is a chore, not a pleasure.

Path of Exile is a great RPG. It's basically free to play Diablo, but unfortunately it struggles when it comes to interface and lag. Always online restriction every so often causes the game to stutter. Otherwise it a showcase of perfectly implemented action RPG mechanics, but for free.

8.3 / 10.0 - X-Morph: Defense
Oct 22, 2017

X-Morph: Defense is a brilliant tower defence game. This time we are the invaders and need to defend our invasion. We can fight all over the world, in nice locations, but it's not as simple TD as most. We need to balance power supply, fight against fighters and dynamically change paths to be able to survive. Even the first level is tough. And that's good.

The Inner World: The Last Windmonk is a continuation of a story of slightly infantile hero. Unfortunately it's not a standalone game and it needs to be played after the first game to understand what's going on. And there's a lot going on. Betrayal, power hunger, loyalty, complex multi-level upside down puzzles. Everything is here.

8.3 / 10.0 - Laser League
Jun 17, 2018

Laser League is fun arena-based action game where you are tasked with eliminating the opposing team with lasers. This is a great way to spend a quality couch co-op time with a group of skilled friends. Laser League looks great and plays nice, but lacks playerbase.

Sudden Strike 4 is the best strategy game released for Xbox One or even Xbox in general. It combines good old complexity of Sudden Strike games with great UI design done by people who held controllers in their hands. It's not the same as playing the game hunched over your keyboard, but it's close enough. I just wished it was Xbox Play Anywhere enabled.

8.3 / 10.0 - Phantom Doctrine

Phantom Doctrine is a turn-based strategy games that allows us to take part in international intrigues and espionage. In the world where loyalty is nothing and betrayal is around the corner, will you manage to complete at least the first mission?

Almost There is a nice platformer that builds on known mechanics and is expanding levels by building more and more complex tracks. It starts off easy, but quickly becomes hardcore twitch platformer. Perfect for players who want to test their skills.

8.3 / 10.0 - Fallout 76
Dec 6, 2019

As of the end of 2019 Fallout 76 is everything Fallout fan can expect from online Fallout experience. Plenty of walking, collecting scrap, and killing everything that still lives. Only thing is that now you can explore with other players, mostly friendly folk.

Irony Curtain is one of the best point & click adventure games available on the market. It's punny, funny and perfectly made. Irony Curtain features abstract soviet era inspired puzzles and full voiceover.

8.3 / 10.0 - We Happy Few
Aug 12, 2019

We Happy Few is quite a unique game. It tells a story set in alternative universe, where Nazis successfully invaded UK. To ease people's sorrow, Joy was introduced. We play mainly as Arthur whose work is to censor sad archival news. The game starts when Arthur decides not to take Joy for the first time... Or is it?

Valley of the Yetis is a good looking DLC that changes a lot about how Far Cry 4 works, but it lasts only for a few hours and vistas are way more exciting than the actual gameplay.

Ark: Survival Evolved is not a reliable game. It crashes more often than you are able to save your progress. It provides a vast area for gameplay, but most of it is not accessible unless you are a god-like. It can be used a creative tool for your mind, but you need to endure tediousness of the grind. It's like Minecraft, but less fun in single player, more deadly and without as much content.

Book Two focuses on the consequences of our actions from Book One. Disobedience has its own price. This time our main focus is Aliena and Jack as they stand against new Earl of Shiring who wants revenge and the Bishop who wants a cathedral of his own. The game is a must play. The book is a must read.

8.2 / 10.0 - Rad Rodgers
Mar 25, 2018

Rad Rodgers seems to be a good combination of platformer and shooter. Unfortunately it lacks challenging levels and double jump, and hats are present, but of no consequence. It's worth to hunt for retail version of the game. It will be a gem.

Despite critical approval de Blob 2 was not a commercial success in 2011. This time we got an unaltered experience with a bit of touch ups. It's still a good game focusing on simple fun, not a challenge. It's perfect for all younger players, will it be enough to convince people to play?

8.2 / 10.0 - Conan Exiles
May 20, 2018

After finally going out of Xbox Live Preview we get an unstable mess riding on the wave of Ark and similar titles. Interesting setting may not be enough to offset all the flaws. But it looks good, plays alright, and gives us direction, which is way more than other titles of this genre can offer.

Jul 15, 2018

Awkward is a great party game that up to 4 players are pitted agains each other in the game that breaks of builds relationships. It was the first game I played with my girlfriend and suffice to say, we are still together. Can't guarantee you won't loose a friend!

We All Fall Down is a DLC that explains a lot of backstory of Arthur's former boss. It's linear and tells us about hypocrisy of new government, how they hold people in line and what happens if you stick out. It's less sneaky and more action filled than the original game.

We Happy Few: The Came From Below is the first story DLC for the game. Roger and James need to save the world from robot onslaught in this 2-hour long linear story. It's full of brand new enemies, weapons and mechanics, but it's a departure from know We Happy Few formula.
