NBA2K0 is worth your money if you focus on the game itself and not on the superficial things you can buy with your VC in MyCareer or in MyTeam. Because even as its aging graphics engine speaks to a need for a shake-up, NBA 2K20 is still undeniably the best you can get when it comes to basketball sims.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions’ secret to success is that it puts the spotlight on its beloved characters and their unique abilities to tell a great sports story. No matter how ridiculous or unbelievable they are, it works as long as it entertains and inspires their audience.

Short AAA games aren't a rare sight nowadays, and there is always an argument to be had when comparing their value versus meatier AAA titles. Given the rise in development costs and the industry’s tendencies towards focusing on presentation and storytelling, I wouldn’t be surprised if studios would begin a similar trend of developing more short-but-sweet open-world games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Catherine: Full Body is a complete package. It has something for everyone: a solid and replayable campaign mode; an arcade mode that features more puzzles; competitive and co-op modes, and most important of all, a surprisingly good puzzle game. Although some bits in the story are problematic, Catherine’s visuals, as well as the story’s mature themes dealing with commitment, relationships, and infidelity, are generally entertaining.

Nioh 2 [encourages] you to be creative and personalize your whole gameplay experience. The only hurdle for players new to the franchise is it'ss very steep difficulty and learning curve. But if you can tough it out and get past that, this is a game you may even see yourself revisiting time and again.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an amazing action-adventure game and a fresh departure from the titles that FromSoftware built its reputation on. It rewards players who are eager to learn how to play and use the tools and abilities given to them and stands toe-to-toe with its brutal siblings as a showcase for how FromSoftware’s approach to the action genre has evolved.
