Still, there are some decent features in Betrayer. It's gorgeous to look at and your experience may be different from mine, depending on your luck. If nothing else, it has made me very excited to see what Blackpowder have learned from creating Betrayer, and I hope they can improve on the problems I encountered in the future.

Unrest doesn't offer much more than playing as characters, having conversations and dictating where their lives are going. It might offer a diversion for a while if you're a fan of character-driven RPGs, but it's unlikely to entice newcomers to the genre.

It is as intense a game as I have played in recent times and I did get close to smashing a few things in frustration – it is as unforgiving as they come. A fast paced, pick-up-and-play, run-and-gun dungeon crawler that may impress the hardcore – if it doesn't drive them insane.

Samurai Gunn is a prime example of doing more with less. It doesn't have to be over-complicated to be interesting. The great level design, accompanied by charming 8-bit style artwork, an incredible soundtrack and the fact that you need to be very quick-thinking and account for every centimetre of space, really make this a special game in its genre

A Story About My Uncle is a captivating and engaging experience. Once you put on that suit and are launched into the sky, you begin a journey that will have you smiling throughout, even during the challenging moments. It's a game of beauty and wit, converging to create a truly wonderful experience full of dazzling artwork and obstacles that demand some thought to overcome. Some may find A Story About My Uncle too easy, some people may find it infuriating; most, however, will be engrossed in its ever-glowing and charismatic fantasy world.
