Jun 28, 2018

MotoGP 18 is a competent sequel that improved both graphics and physics. It's just a bit of a shame it lacks content. If you've played the previous entries, feel free to ignore this one and wait for MotoGP 19. If this would be your first motorsport video game, you won't choose wrong,

The Italian studio Milestone should be proud of the game they've made. MXGP PRO is an enjoyable and well-made title for both beginners and veterans. Must play for motosport fans.

Super Street: The Game isn't terrible, but it definitely could have used a bit more time in the oven. Occasionally, you can squeeze some enjoyment out of it, but it simply feels unfinished. If the developers keep working on it, it could be worth a look in the future.

NBA 2K Playgrounds is a simple, yet very enjoyable sports game, focused primarily on multiplayer. There's fun to be had in singleplayer, just don't expect it to measure up to the more serious basketball video games.

11-11 Memories Retold is an amazing virtual monument to the casualties of World War I. Its story about two ordinary soldiers that are drafted to war against their will, is told in an unique, borderline experimental way. And it's one of the rare games that will make you think not about just solving logic puzzles, but about the cruelty of war and its repercussions.

Although Fallout 76 offers the fans the opportunity to explore the wastelands of West Virginia, sadly it's only online. I say sadly, because the online elements don't really fit well with the established Fallout gameplay. The game also feels a bit aimless. If you enjoy exploring post-apocalyptic worlds, you should probably stick with Fallout 4.

80% - Ride 3
Dec 26, 2018

Ride 3 is probably the most complex racing game focusing strictly on classic cars. With more than 200 perfectly modelled motorbikes, both modern and old, a bit less perfect racing tracks and very addictive gameplay, it can keep you entertained for a great amount of time. Although, to enjoy it fully, you have to be a true racer and love racing in a racing line.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, the game that popularized the Battle Royale genre, has finally arrived on PlayStation 4. It's definitely fun, but the technical issues hamper the experience a bit. If you don't mind those, you won't be disappointed.

Hitman HD Enhanced Collection bundles two great games with the legendary assassin in the leading role, but the price tag is pretty discouraging. Once the price gets lower and you'll feel the itch to reminiscence a bit, feel free to grab the collection. Just make sure to keep your expectations in check.

Genesis Alpha One is a fairly unique genre mix that probably shouldn't work as well as it does. Despite that, it manages to be a gripping experience that could keep you entertained for tens or even hundreds of hours.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is more or less a standard LEGO game like many others. But this time, it really feels like the franchise needs a break in order to find some new ideas or it's gonna get really stale.

You have to give Avalanche Studios props for crafting a very interesting world, but their efforts weren't quite enough. Right now, there's just no reason to play Generation Zero, but once it gets fixed and tweaked a bit, it could be worth trying

85% - F1 2019
Jul 4, 2019

F1 2019 had a shorter development cycle than the previous entries in the series, but despite that, Codemasters has managed to improve the franchise in every single way. If you're a fan of motorsports and you don't have any F1 games in your library, this is the best time to fix that. Formula 1 games have never been better.

The new name thankfully didn't change the direction of the series as well. On the other hand, eFootball PES 2020 doesn't offer any revolutionary changes. It's a iterative entry in the series with some good improvements, better graphics, almost perfect physics and new, detailed menu statistics.

80% - WRC 8
Oct 10, 2019

WRC 8 offers massively improved graphics and extremely immersive and detaileded career mode. However, it's lacking in the amount of available vehicles and the UI feels a bit cumbersome to navigate using a gamepad. Despite that, it still remains a great choice for the lovers of rocky terrain and handbrakes.
