Return of the Obra Dinn skillfully combines retro art style, seldom used setting and gameplay centered around logical deduction. If you've ever wanted to be a detective or if you're fond of original videogame premises, you shouldn't miss this.

Advance Wars veterans will be right at home in Wargroove, but even everyone else is sure to enjoy the tactical mayhem. However, it wouldn't hurt if the game was a bit faster paced.

Yakuza Kiwami isn't the most innovative game under the sun, but it builds on such a solid foundation it's still definitely worth playing. However, due to the lower budget and slavish devotion to the decade old original game, it doesn't quite hold up to Yakuza 0.

Aside from the audiovisual that are great as usual, SteamWorld Quest feels kind of bland. It definitely isn't bad and it can give you a couple hours of enjoyment, but eventually, its relative simplicity will start to wear you down.

Despite Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom being a revival of a 30-year old franchise, it doesn't show at all. It takes only the good parts of the original Wonder Boy games and feels modern in every way.
