Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is another good PC port from PlayStation. There are a few flaws, but overall, it represents another excellent package that deserves the attention of PC gamers, who until now have not been able to enjoy Naughty Dog's adventures.

Gotham Knights is a game with a lot of problems, but it's still enjoyable at times, especially for fans of the superhero genre and the Batman universe. However, ultimately it doesn't manage to reach Rocksteady's excellent Arkham games.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has a quality single-player campaign, with an incredible technical area, elusive production values and unbeatable gunplay. Despite its few weaknesses, it manages to differentiate itself, offering a more military experience that goes beyond simple shooting galleries and spectacular set-pieces.

As was the case with its big brother, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a flawless port to the PC platform, performing exceptionally well even on a mid-range system.

If you like fast-paced melee combat games or if you are baked by the B-movie aesthetic and want something mindless, you will definitely have a good time. If on the other hand if you are looking for something more, you better invest elsewhere.

Need for Speed Unbound is a game that has style, but certainly this style is not for everyone...

High on Life kept me busy for about 12 hours and almost every minute I had a smile painted on my face. If you like the humor of Rick and Morty and Justin Roiland, start downloading already. If, on the other hand, you want a more grounded and serious experience, I can't recommend High on Life so easily, as the whole experience is clearly based on this extreme sense of humor.

Burning Shores is a bit more Horizon Forbidden West, with all that entails. There are various new enemies, some welcome new gameplay additions, and a new map to explore.

Dead Island 2 is one of the pleasant gaming surprises of 2023, although you'd expect it to come out full of problems and with a confused identity after ten years of delays. The end result couldn't have been further from those fears. The experience is technically flawless with no problems, gorgeous graphics and consistent performance, and most importantly: highly, highly entertaining and satisfying gameplay!

Street Fighter 6 is an extremely rich package that successfully manages to win over new players thanks to its new and sophisticated control system, while also winking at veterans, with its balanced, strategic and deep gameplay. It includes everything Street Fighter 5 did, while the development team has added an entire Street Fighter open world RPG and an online MMO on top of it. So, just like that, Capcom's positive...combo continues!

The Crew Motorfest is a well-crafted open world racing game, set in a beautiful location and packed with content, with a varied and impeccably paced campaign or a series of mini-campaigns. It's Ubisoft's attempt to make its own Forza Horizon, as it follows the formula almost to the letter, and largely succeeds. Sure, there are flaws, and in the attempt to include everything that can be driven, from boats, planes, Formula 1 cars, motorbikes to -of-course- cars, depth has been sacrificed. Either way, anyone who invests their time will certainly not regret it, as this is ultimately a highly entertaining game!

Assassin's Creed Mirage left me finally satisfied and I am glad that in 2023 there is again a chapter in the series with such a more old-school direction. I wouldn't say it's a complete return to the roots, since there are still remnants of the RPG era, with the parkour system being my biggest complaint. while the "now" of history is again absent. However, I think this is a game that fans will particularly enjoy, and I easily recommend investing their time in. It has one of the best cities we've ever seen in the entire Assassin's Creed series, a real achievement, with awesome level design and a lot to teach. Literally, it has a well-crafted stealth system with many tools for each scenario, and its scale is finally at normal and manageable levels, without you ever feeling like it doesn't respect your time.

With the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign, Activision is testing the limits of how "cheap" it can get, while asking players for €79.99. The experiment unfortunately fails, resulting in the worst Call of Duty in years, which suffers on almost all fronts. From the extremely short duration, to the nerveless set-pieces, the copy-pasted environments that are simply altered parts of Warzone's maps, the poorly written script and the abrupt finale, these are just a few of the problems of this year's CoD. The situation is somewhat saved by the robust and tried and tested gunplay, some pleasant flashes, as well as quality graphics. But these are not enough to bring... in the spring. Unless you're big fans and well prepared for what's ahead, you'd better keep your money and invest your time elsewhere.
