911 Operator Deluxe Edition is a stress-filled management game, that requires you to strategically think through simulated emergency scenarios. This game's tension makes up for the lack of physical gameplay. If you're looking for a tense and educational experience, try out this game.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted's port to the Nintendo Switch has proven to be a difficult one. The slippery controls render the game difficult to play, but I don't consider this a hit against the franchise. FNAF will continue to be a fan favorite, and I'm sure more games are planned for the future.

8 / 10.0 - Destrobots
Jul 9, 2020

Destrobots hit the sweet spot in something that doesn't require a lot of variety to be fun over and over again. Play with friends or on your own!

7.5 / 10.0 - AntVentor
Jul 17, 2020

Drop into the photorealistic world of AntVentor! Despite the lack of dialog, this point-and-click game strikes a nice balance between humor and puzzle-solving. While some of the hints and challenges are difficult, I do believe AntVentor is a game that can be enjoyed by anyone.

8.5 / 10.0 - Ultra Hat Dimension
Jul 25, 2020

Ultra Hat Dimension feels like a game created by people who loved old dungeon-based puzzlers. The game requires strategy, but it is entertainingly deceitful. It's a balance of frustration and cutesy atmosphere that I really appreciate. Somewhat strange premise aside, Ultra Hat Dimension is a fun game woven with care.

6 / 10.0 - Runestone Keeper

Runestone Keeper is an easy game to pick up, and for dungeon crawler fans, this one was certainly an entertaining time. While it doesn't hold a lot of replay value for me personally, I still had fun with it!

9.5 / 10.0 - Spellbreak

While DOOM Eternal is rated M for its gore and violence, there's a lot about the gaming experience that makes it safer to play for teen and young adult audiences than the average, multiplayer competitors of its genre. And if there's ever a day I need to just chainsaw through some demons, I know where I can turn.

Super Meat Boy Forever will frustrate you; there's no doubt about it. But that's part of its draw. Just as games like Cuphead have an audience, the Super Meat Boy franchise has a slightly less masochistic one.

9 / 10.0 - Summer Catchers
Mar 17, 2021

It's hard to be mad at a game like Summer Catchers that has such a sweet sense of humor and such an interesting way to present a simplistic gameplay design. If you're looking for the next indie platform that's not just a character jumping from ledge-to-ledge, I definitely recommend Summer Catchers.

This game is built to get you into the action quickly with just a few cutscenes to explain the creation of the Delta Squad. I enjoyed the chance to mindlessly shoot droids and see how far I could get. With a variety of difficulties to help you set your pace, gamers of any skill level can play Star Wars: Republic Commando.
