Interesting on paper, but lacks tension and is full of technical and gameplay issues and repetitive tasks. Blair Witch is full of unmet potential that doesn't stack up to the reputation of Bloober Team.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a traditional JRPG that's enjoyable for the newcomers of the genre and veteran players both. The fairytale atmosphere, helped by artists of Studio Ghibli, is simply magical and the remastered version didn't spoil any of that.

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world is a surprisingly good remake that's full of fresh ideas even today. However, the length and the slow start might deter some players. Must-play for VN fans, an interesting memento of the 90s for everyone else.

Disco Elysium is an unconventional and innovative isometric RPG, offering unusually complex mechanisms and great literary qualities in the vein of Planescape: Torment and Arcanum. It boasts strong atmosphere and attention to details that are sometimes overlooked by the larger videogame developers.

Shenmue III isn't at all the perfect video game that everyone would love. On the contrary, Yu Suzuki's dream project is focused purely on pleasing the old fans of the series that aged along with the first two games and offers exactly what the third part of the saga would, if it came out 15 years ago. If viewed through that lens, Shenmue III is nothing but a success.

Kentucky Route Zero is a work of art that rests solely on its literary qualities and atmosphere. Good thing is that both of these aspects are very solid and the long wait for the final act was worth it. A worthy conclusion of a remarkable video game.

Beautiful Desolation is a good looking atmospheric game packed with ideas that sometimes suffers from almost trivial gameplay and sometimes from high level of challenge. It's evident a lot of work went into the title, but it required a firmer editorial hand that would smooth out the rough edges.
