SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE brings what worked best in the original game, adding some elements that make it a more complete and sophisticated experience. With a subjective narrative, this game is visually unique and has a solid and fun gameplay base, that is involving and leave us wanting more.

80 / 100 - Neversong
Jul 20, 2020

Neversong is a beautiful and sensitive journey of a boy on a quest that goes far beyond the hero's journey. With a very peculiar artistic style and an atmosphere that flirts with psychological horror in a very creative way, it has in the combat and in the almost nonexistent challenge its weakest points, and in the delicate construction of the narrative, its best quality.

60 / 100 - Hellpoint
Aug 4, 2020

Hellpoint is a good, but not great, action RPG inspired by the soulslike sub-genre with competent but poor sci-fi ambience. If it looks dated and uninspired visually, it has in its combat system – even with some downsides – its appeal. It brings innovative aspects, but it should please only fans of the genre who have their expectations in check.

50 / 100 - Skater XL
Aug 6, 2020

Skater XL is undoubtedly a very robust experience in terms of gameplay and probably the most sophisticated of its kind. However, it suffers from the lack of content, objectives and certain elements, in addition to having serious level design problems in the few available scenarios, still having a very raw collision system and a below average audiovisual construction, even for an independent production.

pixelBOT EXTREME! is as much fun as the player's resilience lasts, offering simple and addictive mechanics, a great artistic style in what is proposed and a level design that is sometimes incredible, sometimes cruel. If it fails in terms of charisma, it pays off by offering a wonderful side-scrolling shooter experience.

75 / 100 - Metamorphosis
Aug 20, 2020

Metamorphosis is a unique work, very well executed and with narrative layers that are sure to please Kafka enthusiasts and his legacy. Adventurous and with a very particular narrative point of view, the game proves to be a satisfying, but quite short experience. Aesthetically, it has its limitations, but it compensates them with style and a certain sense of strangeness full of identity.

Giraffe and Annika is a light game, a fairy tale with a clean manga aesthetic and full of subtleties. With too simplified environments and very simple mechanics for an exploration adventure, it brings its most original point a rhythmic system in the battle against bosses, although it appropriates many things that we have seen before. With all this, it is a pleasant and relaxing experience for all ages.

90 / 100 - Manifold Garden
Sep 3, 2020

Manifold Garden is probably one of the best and most daring puzzle games of the past two decades. Referring to the greatest classics of the genre, it manages to present an absolutely simple concept both in terms of aesthetics and gameplay, with the right rhythm in beautiful and ingenious challenges.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is, without a doubt, exactly what the fans of the franchise expected: it brings the same scenarios, refined and fluid gameplay, an updated look to current standards and, above all, uncompromising fun that keeps the good vibes from the original games.

75 / 100 - RPG Maker MV
Sep 15, 2020

There is no doubt that RPG Maker MV, due to its characteristic of being software adapted for consoles, requires patience beyond normal for amateur game designers. Still, it is a powerful and fascinating tool, with many great functions that allow the creation of great 2D RPGs with isometric view and strong nostalgic appeal.

Praetorians HD Remaster is a classic RTS game in all its merit, but also in all its limitations, especially considering the PlayStation 4 version and the features of the DualShock 4 and the couch player. It has its advantages, but suffers in all aspects – narrative, audiovisual and gameplay – to dialogue with the current moment, even though it belongs to a relatively rare genre on consoles today.

Commandos 2 remains a must have game for fans of classic RTS games, although it gives its age in some mechanics already outdated. The HD remastering, especially on the PlayStation 4, however, brings so many gaffes of the adaptation that enjoying the title ends up requiring a much greater effort than it should.

Star Wars: Squadrons offers a great experience within its proposal – the combat in classic ships of the franchise – with a satisfactory campaign and a robust multiplayer mode. With a competent look, its greatest strength is, in fact, in the sharp and balanced gameplay, not forgetting the franchise's inevitable appeal to fans of all ages.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake is undeniably very faithful to the original SEGA Saturn game and, therefore, an appeal to nostalgia. However, it is so faithful that at times it seems limited to a restricted and confusing gameplay. If the audiovisual received a decent and adequate update, there was a lack of boldness in bringing the game to the present day in other areas.

70 / 100 - Ride 4
Oct 15, 2020

Ride 4 is definitely a niche game, not only because of the theme, but because of the level of technical demands it proposes. Visually, one of the best of its kind, it brings a lot of content for lovers of the two wheels, but with a flawed artificial intelligence and a cruel learning curve, it is recommended only for specialists, or at least, for the most patient.

75 / 100 - Unrailed!
Oct 21, 2020

Thinking about the scope of production and the result presented, Unrailed! is a good recommendation for anyone looking for something light and without that mandatory constant engagement and it works even more playing with the crowd. In the total absence of any narrative line and with a very characteristic look, it is in the simplicity of the mechanics where the game finds its greatest assets.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin is a complete beat 'em up, with the best characteristics that enshrined the genre. Despite some slippage of pace, some technical limitations and a certain lack of variety of enemies and missions, it has a neat aesthetic and well-implemented mechanics, and manages to tell its story in a very competent way.

75 / 100 - The Survivalists
Oct 28, 2020

The Survivalists is not one of the most original games of all time, but it manages to deliver everything that it proposes to the player, with a great creation system (although it is more truncated than it should be), a neat pixel art look and secrets every time more curious for the more dedicated, offering an extra dose of fun to play alone or with other people.

85 / 100 - Wonder Blade
Nov 1, 2020

While originality is an important aspect, Wonder Blade is so adorable that it is virtually impossible not to like it. Everything works especially well, even though it is strange to have to go back to the initial menu to evolve some aspects of the character. The artistic style, animations and gameplay flow and the narrative and progression simplicity attest positively to the work.

Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continues brings good doses of nostalgic fun, but presents some technical and audiovisual problems that cannot be ignored. There are qualities, such as a big progression system, good humor and a wide variety of characters and special movements, but those who are not fans of the genre or the franchise will find few attractions here compared to similar games on the market.
