Startup Company Console Edition held my attention for the first four or five hours. However, as I progressed and got nearer to the end of the game, it soon turned into a case of clicking to and fro and adding ingredients. I did play on but only in short bursts, and it wouldn’t be a game I’d replay. Overall the game is fine as a simulation but doesn’t offer the player anything new.

Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent is a fun game for a while. It’s maybe a game you would play in short bursts, as I did. I did like the battles in the game. However, the storyline got a little tedious after a while. Nevertheless, you will likely find what you want if this is your go-to game genre.

Overall, My Downtown is a typical match-3 game with the added element of building a city. It will not blow your socks off with anything new or exciting introduced to the match- 3 genre. But it is passable as a fun game to spend some time with for enjoyment. So if match-3 is your go-to genre, you should find what you are looking for in My Downtown. One word of caution, the game on the Switch is priced at $19.99, whereas on Google Play the game is priced at $5.49, I know what format I would choose to play the game on, the cheapest one!

I found Flat Eye to be an unsettling game, leaving me with plenty of thoughts on the subjects in the narrative during my nine hours or so with it. In addition, I like the game’s overall premise, and it plays well. However, if the developer intended to leave the player with thoughts about how the future with technology can pan out, they have succeeded.

Pilgrims is an enjoyable and entertaining adventure game for as long as it lasts. However, be aware that you are getting little gameplay time for your five bucks. Of course, it does have a little replayability, though I enjoyed it the first time, I didn’t enjoy it as much on my second playthrough as I already knew how the game pans out. I do wonder if I would have played it again if it wasn’t for writing this review.

Bunny Park is a simple wholesome game. On the Nintendo Switch, the controls need a patch before I would recommend the game in that format. The gameplay itself is enjoyable, who wouldn’t like to look after some cute bunnies that you can pet? But if you are thinking of buying the game on the Nintendo Switch I’d wait a while until the camera is fixed, otherwise, it spoils the game. As it is, going on gameplay alone Bunny Park gets a score off…..

Home Deco Puzzles doesn’t bring out your inner home decorator, but focuses on a game of memory instead. The game is simplistic in design and the background music is peaceful, which makes it relaxing to listen to. Other than that, you will be disappointed if you expect this game to be similar to, for example, Unpacking. The only similarity between the two games is that you unpack boxes.

Train Valley Console Edition is a challenging puzzle game with controls that make playing it on the Switch a tad frustrating. However, I’d recommend Train Valley if you like trains and enjoy a good challenge. I must admit I’d play it on PC over the Switch version. This way you might save yourself having to buy a new Switch after throwing it through the window in frustration.

Overall I enjoyed playing Ruggnar. Even the platform jumping was pleasant to play and not frustrating. I would have liked to have more of a challenge in the game, especially in a game that centres around how dark it is meant to be. But I like that the game’s main focus is exploring the enemy-free dungeons, not everything revolves around combat.

Bugsnax is a certainly different take on the adventure puzzle genre. Catching the Bugsnax is fun at the beginning of the game, but after 8 to 10 hours, the repetitiveness of the game’s main task drags it all down, which is a pity. Overall, Bugsnax was fun while it lasted, but it wouldn’t be a game I’d be rushing to play again.

Smart Factory Tycoon is an enjoyable game. The developers are continuing to update the game regularly as it was updated as I was playing it for this review. It is not a game that would suit every player as when you are short on money there isn’t much to do except watch the robots at work. But if you are a fan of Tycoon games then Smart Factory Tycoon could be what you are looking for.

Two Hundred Ways is a good puzzle game for playing in short bursts. It is however let down by fiddly controls. If you can work with the control system as it is you should enjoy the puzzles contained in the game. As for me, I liked what I played of the game but it wouldn’t be one I would be rushing back to play again until the controls were tweaked.

The Cruel King and the Great Hero is a gorgeous looking storybook RPG with an engaging story if a little lighthearted. However, the game doesn’t bring anything new to the genre, and with the pacing issues around the random battles, it can get repetitive quickly and become a little bit of a slog to reach the end.

Treasure Temples is a decent little puzzle game, it has all the right ingredients to make it challenging enough without being overly frustrating. A good puzzle game to add to your library of pick up and play games and suitable for all ages to play.

Pudding Monsters is an enjoyable game in quick bursts. The sliding monster puzzles just give enough of a challenge without it turning into frustration. But beware, for a game that is $0,99 on the app store, I wonder why it is priced at $4,99 in the eShop, especially since the developers haven’t updated the game to suit the system it is being released on.

If you enjoy a good game of Solitaire then 15in1 Solitaire on the Nintendo Switch could be just what you are looking for. The game certainly has plenty of variations on the standard Solitaire card game. It is a great game to pass some time playing for a few hours on a cold winter evening.

Kittens and Yarn is a simplistic puzzle in looks and its challenge. Like most Silesia Games puzzle games, such as Hidden Paws or Summer Paws, Kittens and Yarn doesn’t break the mould of minimalist looks tied in with a decent puzzle game. However, it is a great game to pass a few hours with for the few pounds or dollars the game costs in the eShop.

While I like Draw a Stickman: EPIC, the actual artistic skill required to play this game is zero. Draw isn’t a game for those looking to flex their creativity as little is needed or allowed in the game. The puzzles are pretty linear, and the crayons are spells but in crayon form. The game was good while it lasted, but I feel it could have been so much better.
