70 / 100 - Flood of Light
Sep 27, 2018

Flood of Light is a new addition to the already extensive catalogue of puzzle-based games available at the Nintendo Switch eShop. With an original approach and seasoned with an attractive visual and musical aspect, we find a totally recommendable proposal within the puzzle games available for the Nintendo hybrid,

A good touch of humor in his proposal, a pleasant taste of Marble Madness and puzzles and platforms following the rhythm of music, in an interesting title of search for the 'sky' for our protagonist pellet.

From A Night at the Races I liked the way in which Mushy Jukebox has introduced a story in a genre not too used to it, accompanied by an artistic and sound section of a very good level. Simple but effective. The duration of the levels is perfect for the portability of Nintendo Switch. Of course, the standard difficulty frustrates more than one.

75 / 100 - Viviette
Jan 30, 2019

Viviette is not a game that invents the wheel, but its more than correct execution in all its aspects makes it a very important alternative for those thirsty for more traditional survival horror, all at a reduced price.

80 / 100 - Red Ronin
Nov 10, 2021

The formula proposed by Red Ronin, within its simplicity, offers enough entertainment to invest the approximately six hours of duration it offers. Although its audiovisual section has its lights and shadows, the general set shows a good finish.

80 / 100 - Of Bird and Cage
May 27, 2021

Of Bird And Cage is a different proposal in which it is the game that revolves around its soundtrack, and not the other way around. Despite its graphical shortcomings, the story it wants to convey and its musical proposal in the form of heavy metal are at a great height. Recommended if you like this musical genre, and also master English.

80 / 100 - CrossCode
Jul 9, 2020

With an audiovisual section bordering on the honors, Cross Code does not remain a simple pretty face and offers us an adventure of about 40 hours in the form of Action RPG of the old school. Despite the framerate problems that it has, it is a 100% recommended experience, yes, taking into account that it does not have a Spanish translation.

With a fairly competent graphic section -although not exempt from a lack of stability in certain situations-, accompanied by all the sense of humour Duke Nukem can add, and tons of action, this version of Bulletstorm becomes very entertaining. However, if you've played the original, the additions may not be enough to justify your purchase.

This is a very entertaining game, which mixes elements of real-time strategy with others taken directly from the Tower Defense and some touches of micromanagement of resources. The difficulty shown in certain levels can make more than one player go backwards, but if what we are looking for is a challenging game, we have a good alternative. The few new additions to the original Wii U may not be enough for those who have already bought it.

80 / 100 - The Bug Butcher
Nov 8, 2018

The Bug Butcher is a tremendously robust shooting arcade, with high production values and a simple but very careful gameplay. With a caricatured and colourful visual aspect, it is a totally valid proposal in a relatively abandoned genre.

85 / 100 - Dandara
May 23, 2019

Dandara is the perfect example that it is always possible to innovate no matter how well-trodden a genre is. Taking the well-known bases of the Metroidvania, it manages to give a twist to the formula to be able to differentiate from the rest of the games of the genre. All this is wrapped up in a pleasant and detailed audiovisual section.

Without being a revolution and taking clear references, Reverie Sweet As Edition proposes an adventure focused on action and puzzles along the six dungeons that we will find. A quite pleasant and entertaining game, which sins of having a reduced duration but that fulfills in all its aspects.

Trine is a colorful action-platform adventure with visually rich settings that will delight fans of the genre. It also has a very careful sound section, with beautiful melodies setting each level, which contribute to complete a game that, without being perfect, has very high production values. Totally recommendable.

Candle: The Power of the Flame is a graphic adventure with a great artistic impact, supported by a sound section at the height of the circumstances and finished off by a very well done dubbing. In spite of some small problems with the control, the set is a highly recommended game, both for beginners in the genre and for those fans of it.

If you liked the games of the Guitar Hero or Rock Band sagas, and you have also developed more neck than Fernando Alonso based on headbaging, Double Kick Heroes will enchant you. Not only is it visually a very worked game, but the compositions of the game could pass through real themes of first level heavy metal bands. Of course, beware of its high difficulty.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a breath of fresh air, a unique game with an outstanding narrative section and a tremendously beautiful artistic finish. It is not translated into Spanish and some of the mechanics do not work, but it manages to keep the player interested in continuing to collect stories without becoming boring.
