Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a beautiful and ambitious title from the new studio Ember Lab that mixes action, adventure, exploration and puzzle solving in a more than remarkable way. After three years since its release on PlayStation and PC systems, and without knowing the reason why Kena has taken so long to reach the Xbox ecosystem, we can only strongly recommend that its users get the game immediately, it is a great and nice experience that deserves to be played.

89 / 100 - Fading Afternoon
Jul 22, 2024

Fading Afternoon takes us to Japan in the 80s, in what we could define as the mixture of a mafia life simulator with a walking simulator and a beat 'em up, all seasoned with beautiful pixel art and an exceptional soundtrack. . Fading Afternoon is a charming game that radiates melancholy and longing for a time gone by. It is not perfect nor does it pretend to be, nor is it for everyone, because if its narrative does not catch you, you will end up tired of its loop. However, if we let ourselves be carried away by their proposal, with Fading Afternoon authentic caviar awaits us, which although not everyone may like, its quality is beyond any doubt.

88 / 100 - Atomic Heart
Feb 20, 2023

Atomic Heart is the new open-world first-person shooter with RPG elements developed by Russian studio Mundfish and published by Focus Entertainment. From the beginning we will be captivated by its powerful setting and we will enjoy the powerful visual display that this dystopian Soviet Union of the 50s presents us with. It is impossible for Bioshock not to come to mind -and that can only be good- although at the time After playing it, many mechanics will also remind us of the last Far Cry. It's not quite round due to certain design decisions, and because of the wasted open world, but the game is fun and also a challenge, so we can only recommend it without any doubt.

Trails from Zero is one of the best games in The Legend of Heroes franchise offering quite a deep and satisfying experience. The story is interesting, the characters are well developed and the interaction with them is very successful. Although it was initially released on PlayStation Portable in 2010 for the Japanese market, the fan translation into English by the Geofront group has allowed NIS America to bring us this interesting title to the West. Any fan of role-playing games in general and Nihon Falcom titles in particular will enjoy it.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a spiritual sequel to Jet Set Radio and makes it clear from the first moment. They have managed to achieve all the defining elements of the Sega title, the aesthetics, the music, in a certain way the playability, although it is a little missed that they have taken a little more risk with the game. In short, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a totally recommendable game, both for those who enjoyed Jet Set Radio in their day and for the general public, the game has a lot of flow and very good vibes.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action RPG based on the successful transmedia franchise Granblue Fantasy that comes with the mission of expanding the success of this franchise in the West. Although there was already an approach with a couple of fighting games programmed by Arc System Works, Relink is Cygames' big bet and they couldn't have been more successful, with a fairly solid, well-structured, very fun game, but one that is small. flaws that do not allow it to achieve the outstanding rating, even so, this is a highly recommended title.

Apr 23, 2024

Planet of Lana is a beautiful cinematic platformer with 2D gameplay where stealth sections, platforms, and contextual puzzles await us. We will accompany Lana and the creature Mui on a quite emotional as well as artistically beautiful adventure. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake without really being a remake that we needed, it is a well-received remake that will update the original work so that it remains relevant for new generations. Without being perfect, which has some small design flaws, Naia and Naiee's adventure deserves to be enjoyed and now we have the perfect excuse for it. Prepare for the whirlwind of emotions.

Rise of the Ronin is Team Ninja's first open-world game and arguably their most ambitious title to date. We will travel through a part of Feudal Japan during the last years of the Edo period and we will be indirect participants in one of the most turbulent historical periods of the country of the rising sun while we pursue our own objective. Team Ninja has known how to tell the story and introduce us to it brilliantly, and has given us its best combat system to date, however the open world that it offers us beyond being historically achieved, only fulfills and visually does not take advantage of the system power. Despite this, Rise of the Ronin is still a highly recommended and enjoyable game.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA comes to PlayStation 5 and its users will be able to enjoy Adol's adventure on the island of Seiren in one of the best installments of the veteran Nihon Falcom franchise. A remarkable adventure awaits us that visually shows the passage of time -the original game is from 2016 for PlayStation Vita- but that keeps its fun gameplay fresh.

RoboCop: Rogue City is the best RoboCop game created to date. Teyon's good work has managed to reproduce the Detroit of Paul Verhoeven's film in a totally convincing and even cinematic way. A first-person shooter awaits us, quite entertaining due to its peculiarities and confrontations, although as the adventure progresses the spark fades. There are several things that could be improved, that's true, but that doesn't mean we can't stop recommending this great game, especially if you like RoboCop.

85 / 100 - GRID Autosport
Dec 27, 2019

GRID Autosport, despite not being a new game, rightfully becomes the best driving simulator on Nintendo Switch. Technically commendable, loaded with content, and with great care that the Feral boys have put in the game, and they continue to put it into the game. It lacks the multiplayer mode, and obviously this has an impact on the score, but the developer has announced that they are working in it, so the title becomes a must for lovers of simulation in the system, although the game is also friendly with the new users.

85 / 100 - Gunlord X
Jan 3, 2020

Gunlord X is an improved version of the 2012 game Gunlord, which finally leaves the niche market of the neo retro in Neo Geo and Dreamcast to assault the most popular current consoles, for it improves and polishes the original title, adds the interesting twin control stick, and expand and improve certain levels. Pure action, very enjoyable, but whitout forget where all the inspiration comes from, the Turrican franchise, and that in fact guarantees a good score instantly.

85 / 100 - Alien: Isolation
Dec 13, 2019

Alien: Isolation was a very positive surprise when it was launched in 2014 and five years later it still is on the Nintendo console. Possibly it is the game that does more justice to the xenomorph franchise, it will know how to keep us in tension and get scared on more than one occasion, although the high duration of the title and the repetition of situations subtract some of them. In spite of everything, if you are a fan of the franchise, and horror games are your favourite genre, do not miss the opportunity.

85 / 100 - Indivisible
Oct 31, 2019

Indivisible is an amalgam of genres that work quite well, especially platforms and the RPG. While the platforms work perfectly, the RPG part is much simpler and more superficial, almost exclusively restricted to combat, and without emphasizing the plot or character development. Despite this, and thanks also to a brilliant audiovisual section, and some game mechanics, make Indivisible a veryfun and interesting game.
