Unscored - FutureGrind
Feb 27, 2019

FutureGrind is a game easy to understand, but pretty hard to master. Not only its gameplay is quite addictive but also is good enough for short sessions, unfortunately the progression system is not as intuitive as you think and can be a little frustrating most of the time.

Unscored - JUMP FORCE
Mar 1, 2019

Jump Force is a game that left a lot to be desired, specially since is the first Jump game developed exclusively to the Next-Gen consoles. Not only it takes too seriously but also the graphics don't work with the characters at all. Is a solid fighting game, but not much else even for Shonen Jump fans.

Unscored - Trials Rising
Mar 11, 2019

Keeping the tradition of the Trials games, Rising is a good step ahead in the future of the franchise. Keeps the mechanics intact and improves the design of the tracks, unfortunately the game can feel a little bit grindy in its progression and the content of the Loot Boxes (even if are only cosmetics) is rather disappointing.

Beat Cop is a game with a interesting setting that have a lot of humor that doesn't land well most of the time, and even when it lands, can feel quite offensive by today standards.

The Division 2 carry every improvement that Massive made to the first game in DLCs and post-content releases, but the story still feels like a second class citizen in this game and most of NPC (For not saying any) have any character development other than exposition for a mission.

World Seeker finds its ground creating an original story, that even if is not as good as the original manga, is definitely a good one. The game kind of open world is fun to explore using Luffy abilities like a superhero game. Unfortunately the game doesn't take much advantage of the combat and becomes kinda repetitive after some time.

Unscored - Katana Zero
Apr 18, 2019

Katana Zero creates a Synthwave filled atmosphere with some great visuals, wonderful gameplay and a surprising story. Taking a page of the Hotline Miami book, Askiisoft newest game is one of the hidden gems of the year. Can be a little short but definitely worth a shot.

Unscored - Kunai
Feb 21, 2020

Even with its steep difficulty curves, KUNAI is a charismatic and rewarding experience but some of its core mechanics doesn't work as well as the studio think, specially if you look at some well received games of the genre that came out this generation.

Unscored - Mortal Kombat 11
May 3, 2019

Mortal Kombat 11 is a step in the right direction, after the stellar MKX. Not only builds a better story that's simple enough to follow, but also shows some great development for classic characters and show us that even in a game that's only fighting, there's some interesting stories to tell.

Wastelands go to a different place. Instead of being a episode about the brothers vs. The World, this episode is about the brothers themselves. We delve deeper into their relationship and see the conflict both have related to their age and interests.

Asobo newest game is a story about survival, family and religion. A Plague Tale is a beautiful game in the visual department with an easy to follow story, but still harsh sometimes due to its setting. This is one of the greatest and unexpected surprises of the year.

Unscored - Gato Roboto
Jun 13, 2019

Gato Roboto is a charming and challenging metroidvania that at first glance might not be your cup of tea, but then you'll realize that its mechanics and gameplay are deeper and more aligned to classic games of the genre.

Unscored - My Friend Pedro
Apr 2, 2020

The Bullet time of My Friend Pedro is one of the best you can find right now (Now that Rockstar apparently forgot Max Payne) but some clunky controls and a story that sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, keeps the game from being a great one.

Super Mario Maker 2 is a deeper experience of what we saw in the first game for Wii U. The game uses its “main campaign” component as a way to show what's possible using the tools available and the building part of the game is surprisingly intuitive while using the joy-cons.

One Punch Man is a game filled with interesting ideas, but the execution left a lot to be desired and at the end feels like another cheap anime cash-in by Bandai Namco

Unscored - Persona 5 Royal
Mar 17, 2020

Even if you played the original game, Persona 5 Royal feels like a different game in a lot of places specially the way it handles some characters if you compare it with the base game, right now P5R still is one of the greatest JRPG of this generation

Warlords of New York takes ideas from games like Far Cry 5 or Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and creates a fun playground to take alone or with friends. Unfortunately, the game keeps on failing to develop interesting and engaging characters.

The newest game of My Hero Academia covers one of the best arcs of the anime, and even if it feels a bit formulaic the game takes advantage of the characters so it doesn't feel stale too quickly.

The “Novela” structure of the content is definitely a fresh change of pace and on top of that we finally get to see some returning characters. Also the DLC fixes some performance issues that is welcome too.

Even if is a classic for the Sega Saturn, Panzer Dragoon leaves a lot to be desired. Specially regarding the duration of the game which can be completed in less than an hour on normal difficulty.
