Persona 5 Royal does nearly everything right: It's a huge RPG with an interesting setting and a superb story that catches you from the first minute. It has an unbelievable amount of complex system that work perfectly together. Translations are a first in the Persona series and will make the series gain a bigger audience - which is well deserved. You can spend hundreds of hours with the thieves and it doesn't get boring!

Ghost of Tsushima is an platform exclusive like it should be and it reminds me why I'm still a PlayStation child at heart. It depicts a wonderful world with deep variety, detail and atmosphere, tells a lot of stories that never disappoint in quality and has a complex gameplay that seems polished and made with a lot of love. Even with a few flaws regarding bugs and some repetitive elements, Sucker Punch have proven that they've been so ready for something new!

Many other games can learn a lot from A Plague Tale: Innocence. It features a superb story with realistic characters and nice coming-of-age parts as well as a world with a superb atmosphere. While there are some mechanic hiccups here and there, gameplay is a well-done mix of the elements and remains fresh. There's also a top-notch visual and technical quality that I would like to see in more games.

I spent nearly 50 hours with the Apple Arcade version of Wylde Flowers. I guess the same will happen again with the Nintendo Switch version. Wylde Flowers is one of my wholesome games 2022. You get the lovely town of Fairhaven in a solid Switch port.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is one of my gaming highlights of fall 2025 and easily among the best kart racers I’ve ever played. It’s accessible yet challenging, full of long-term potential thanks to its online modes and festivals, and shows that Team Sonic truly delivered. The only downside is how quickly the current content runs out, though even on the aging Switch hardware, the game runs impressively well—and I’m already looking forward to the upcoming Switch 2 version.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the best Assassin's Creed game for me so far. This time, I think once again that Odyssey should have been like this game already. Some technical hiccups are there, but Ubisoft learnt from the weaknesses of the predecessor and casts a beautiful world to explore and enjoy.
