While the initial concept appears simple on the surface, the end result is anything but. By uniquely combining two staples in the gaming pantheon, dietzribi impacted both the indie scene and the puzzle genre as a whole.

Taito’s latest creation is an example of a retro revival done right and a release this caliber was an awesome way to celebrate the franchise’s 34-year legacy.

From start to finish, Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy was a pleasurable experience. Eidos-Montréal’s video game adaptation of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes is an excellent homage to the series’ legacy!

The core gameplay hook of shifting reality via photography is incredibly well implemented. This results in an incredibly fun experience from start to finish.

While there were some technical issues, nothing was game-breaking. I would put Spinch up there with Super Meat Boy on well-made precision platformers.

7.4 / 10.0 - Sonic Superstars
Dec 5, 2023

Sonic Superstars is a fun adventure, full of many surprises, which will delight fans of the blue hedgehog, and 2D platforming as a whole.

Despite that imbalance, overall I enjoyed the challenging puzzles. While the Oddworld franchise may be unknown by many, and beloved by some, this remastered classic is rough but still fun.

7 / 10.0 - High on Knife
Oct 19, 2023

High on Knife is a fun return to the High on Life world Squanch Games created. That said, the adventure seems rather short, taking between 2 to 3 hours to complete. While the post-game does provide players with additional side missions, and an excuse to further explore the DLCs new areas, none of them feel particularly substantial.
