Pokémon Sword and Shield are titles that polish the base gameplay of Pokémon in a fantastic way but make a series of inexplicable mistakes that tarnish an experience that should have been magical.

In SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions, a fantastic match makes a title that may not seem like it has much to offer, becomes a magnificent experience that one who likes a good tactical system cannot miss.

The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is a JRPG with no serious errors. It is what it seeks to be, a classic cut title with a great script and with a spirit from a couple of generations ago, with a more modern execution.

Bayonetta & Vanquish 10TH Anniversary Bundle is a worthy compilation, giving both games the standard of the current generation. However, its "anniversary" nature makes it feel a little sketchy by not offering any additional content. They are the games that came out in 2009 and 2010 improved technically, without more. Two unmissable masterpieces, but that does not seem to demonstrate the affection that people have for them.

Patapon 2 Remastered is a great game conversion, but like so many other remasters, it feels cold and lacking in extras. Specifically, all three original PSP titles should have been released at once and not by dropper.

65 / 100 - La-Mulana 1 & 2
Mar 10, 2020

LA-MULANA 1 & 2 are games that have an incomparable spirit, and certainly have great intentions, but I think that the basic execution fails at a resounding level that is raised by having those desires, which are palpable throughout both installments. If you manage to forgive control and certain decisions, it is possible that for you it is an outstanding one.

95 / 100 - Nioh 2
Mar 30, 2020

I finished the first Nioh enchanted, loving his combat and how he used Japanese history and mythology. Nioh 2 gives you that multiplied by ten, improves the main setbacks of the previous one, and generally ends up rounding out the set to offer a long, replayable, fun, challenging but fair game, and a long etcetera. His only mistake could be to be a continuity player at his base, but he offers such an obvious improvement that in the end this happens.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is a great musou, very complete, with a lot of content and the ability to have the fan trapped for weeks. However, as a complete edition it falls short.

70 / 100 - Resident Evil 3
Apr 8, 2020

Resident Evil 3 is a good game, without a doubt, where the fantastic setting and fun at the controls shine with their own light, but it is a wasted opportunity that sometimes loses its objective with sections worthy of less terrifying and more explosive games , taken out of fashions almost a decade ago. Nemesis is the big loser of this reinterpretation of the classic, seeing itself reduced to a punctual and rather guided visitor instead of a more organic and fearsome pursuer, as the trailers seemed to boast.

100 / 100 - Persona 5 Royal
May 14, 2020

Persona 5 Royal is a title that excels in all sections and that manages to surprise even the players of the original game. From Atlus they were very clear about what they wanted to offer with this part and have managed to sign one of the best JRPGs in history, and without a doubt one of the clear contenders for best games in recent years.

An interesting story, and some fighting with good ideas, buried under tons of text devoid of any kind of language associated with video games. Neither interactivity, nor cinematics, nor correlation between type of narration and RPG combat. Only for those who have a lot of interest in its history.

75 / 100 - Beyond Blue
Jun 30, 2020

Beyond Blue is a very interesting narrative experience, which exposes the great disseminating power that video games can have, a field little explored in them, and that places us in front of one of the most beautiful and unknown environments on our planet.

Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is a fantastic strategy game, which is mainly based on gameplay and does not try to cover up its shortcomings in that regard with an epic storyline or anything like that. He presents us with a board to play on, explains the rules, and gives us free rein, and once we finish a conquest, we can start playing with another nation again, or use it on a higher difficulty. If you were expecting a Final Fantasy Tactics, a Disgaea, or a Fire Emblem, you will be disappointed.

35 / 100 - Skater XL
Aug 10, 2020

I find Skater XL disappointing in almost every respect. Wanting to sustain the entire game around its control and the hope of living off the mods of the community is not only disappointing, but even unethical when it comes to monetizing something that will be more aware of the work of others than of the own study. If you want to skate, I recommend that you look at other tracks.

75 / 100 - Mortal Shell
Sep 3, 2020

Mortal Shell has a solid and clear base that in the future can give us outstanding games, but today I think that he does not quite understand what makes the genre difficult and to make up for it he resorts to a tool, the number of enemies, which makes something almost essential in just good.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a perfect remastering. It offers the best version of the famous skater's saga, mixing the original games with the most polished control possible, making the possibilities explode like never before. I wish all companies would dedicate this same care when bringing classics to the day to day.

When you mix a gameplay as powerful as the capture and training of monsters with its table of types, evolutions and others, with a classic RPG adventure and a sensational sense of humor, you get a fantastic game like Nexomon Extinction. Very grateful that this exists, really.

Prinny 1 • 2: Exploded and Reloaded combines some great games with a frankly weak job when it comes to bringing them to a current platform, giving the feeling that it is a quick and cheap job to try to take advantage of the cult niche that they were in their moment.

Dragon Quest XI is a game of 10, without discussion. But with Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of a Lost Past - Definitive Edition, Square Enix has gotten itself into a bind of laziness when it comes to generating a definitive title of truth. An unexplainable graphic cut-out that weighs down what should be one of the games of the generation.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes offers a fairly positive overall result that is clouded by some nonsense such as an excessively beginner, almost browser-game aspect, in terms of texts and menus, and some levels a bit more confusing than necessary. Beyond those, good setting, good story, good mechanics. It's worth giving it a try.
