Iwaihime is an excellent visual novel that develops an interesting and intense supernatural mystery. Though the horror is diminished over time and some serious topics aren't handled with care at a few moments, understanding the curse and how it affects the characters becomes an engrossing narrative over time and makes it a strong emotional experience until the end.

Mad Rat Dead masterfully mixes platform and rhythm. The game stands out with its charming and vibrant artistic direction, especially in the way its soundtrack dictates the pace of gameplay, offering a remarkable experience. Even with a hard mode that ends up reducing one of the best qualities of the game, it is a title that is worth playing.

In general, Uppers is a beat ‘em up whose combat is quite fun, but small technical defects end up weakening the experience. It is still worth checking out for enthusiasts of the genre since the combat offers good variety and exaggerated blows, but it does not stand out in comparison to what already exists in the market.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope maintains the strengths and weaknesses of its predecessor, not daring to go much further. The new adjustments, such as the presence of alerts in the QTEs, the practically impeccable translation into Portuguese and the use of familar themes of witches and occult are interesting, but small. Despite this modest claim, the title fulfills its purpose and is an excellent horror game that represents the genre well, with a plot that offers good doses of tension and mystery to explore.

Aokana – EXTRA 1 is an excellent opportunity to see how Mashiro and Masaya’s love life develops. It doesn’t pack the main game’s exciting action, but it knows how to use the character dynamics in interesting ways. Its choice of focusing on comedy and the awkwardness of first love makes an engaging story for those who were already captivated by the characters.
Café Enchanté is an excellent example of otome game, showing a good variety of what the genre has to offer and providing a solid and thought-provoking story whose characters are fantastic. Despite this, a lack of care with the translation causes the experience to be well below what it should be. It is still an essential work for fans of the genre and certainly deserves to be appreciated.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is much larger than the sum of its parts. It is a deeply captivating and indescribable title — it is, in a single word, art. It is an essential game for literally anyone with a PS4 and one that I personally would like to see reaching other platforms so that even more players have the opportunity to experience it.

Drawn to Life: Two Realms could have been a little more. The concept of making it into a puzzle platformer is interesting, but the challenges can go from a walk in the park to asking for advanced comprehension in an instant. Further, some small quality-of-life issues make progress feel slow and slightly cumbersome. Nonetheless, it can offer a good deal of fun for fans of the genre and people who have been dying to see the characters again.
Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition is an thought-provoking mystery game. The tense atmosphere and the characters' complexity are some of its strengths, and the unique decisions system is experimental in a rich way for the genre, but avoids becoming inconvenient. Even the repetitive stretches of the story are not enough to weaken the work, which is an excellent addition to the Switch library.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a good RPG with an interesting futuristic world, solid brazillian adaptation work and gameplay mechanics that allows certain flexibility on solving the missions. However, to the same extent, the game suffers from many bugs and, even without them, it would not be in a position to meet all the expectations by presenting a limited customization and a narrative in which choices have little impact. Without all the hype in mind, there is an interesting journey that I hope can shine properly with future updates.

Hero and a Garden is a short and simple game that combines visual novel with clicker elements. The world is captivating and with few characters, offering a surprisingly engaging and quickly developed narrative. If on the one hand the gameplay is tedious, on the other hand it is a work that I was very happy to have the opportunity to check out and that I think is worth playing for those looking for just a small casual narrative experience.

Ultra Hat Dimension is a game without great qualities. With a focus on gameplay, it fails to deliver really interesting puzzles, oscillating between the boredom of more than fifty obvious levels and only a handful of challenging areas. In general, Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne brings an interesting addition to the universe of the series of light novels and anime. Although linear, its well-developed story, captivating characters and the good use of voices and 2D visuals make the title a good visual novel. Even with a little underdeveloped gameplay, that alone makes the game worthwhile and made me very interested in delving deeper into the universe of Re: Zero.

Olija is a game that thrives in its Asian fantasy atmosphere and well-realized gameplay. The story and soundtrack are artistic and evoke special moods, while the combat and exploration are a neat and interesting package. The journey is short and sweet and only held back by a few stumbles in its narrative delivery.
Heaven’s Vault is an engaging journey in many ways. It is not just the exploration of a galaxy, but also the stories of people and Aliya herself. The performance on the Switch makes the version not the most suitable, but even so, it is an indispensable title for anyone interested in games with a strong narrative load.
