Metaphor: ReFantazio is a refinement of the Persona formula with the simplicity and virtue of other Atlus titles. By simplifying the social aspect, without neglecting its importance in characterizing this environment, it allows the player to immerse themselves in this world in a more intuitive way. The combination of gameplay elements from Persona, with the Narrative of Shin Megami Tensei, along with an extraordinary soundtrack makes the player stay hooked on this adventure for hours on end. With Metaphor: ReFantazio, Atlus managed to create a brilliant new IP capable of standing out within the genre, not only for old but also new fans. The future is bright and smells like Fantasy!

Tales of Arise is a clear evolution of the series' formula, with deeper scenarios and graphics that breathe newness! The more intuitive gameplay, combined with a very competent AI, allows you to enjoy an experience that enhances the interiorization of the plot and characters of this world. Even though it presents a level of difficulty above the average for the series, the challenge presented proves to be gratifying for the player, as the recurring feeling is of justice in the result of our efforts. The future is bright and Tales of Arise may well be the title that will elevate this franchise to the highest levels of the video game market, in a deserved position of greater prominence and recognition.

The Guerrilla Games team managed to create an experience that is clearly characterized as a natural evolution of the first game. In Horizon Forbid West we are rewarded with exactly all the fans of the first game wish for: deeper characterization of Aloy ; an expansion of the post-apocalyptic world; concise plot development; guaranteed beautiful graphics; and of course, more machines to hunt! The capacity and security of the part of the studio, are notorious and in order to provide an experience that meets what we wished for!

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a solid entry in the series that, while not exactly reformulating, manages to evolve in essential points. The player is given a revealing experience that manages to evoke essential questions of our condition as human beings. Overall, it's an essential title for any video game lover and a must for JRPG lovers. If you've played previous titles in the series, you'll know what to expect... if not, get ready for a roller coaster of emotions!

Return to Monkey Island is above all a return to the origins of the series. They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice, but Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman managed to create an experience that in every way evokes the feelings conveyed by the original titles. Let's hope that Guybrush's adventures (these new adventures) don't stop there! We suspect that there are still many stories behind this infamous secret!

Future Redeemed served primarily to “put the dots in the i's”, but it would be unfair to say that that's all this latest DLC for Xenoblade Chorincles 3 is. Above all, it is a culmination of several elements and mechanics of this series that leaves us to ponder its future with very positive expectations. For the most attentive and knowledgeable of the global plot, the final chapter of this DLC opens up immense possibilities, making it impossible not to be anxious about what could come in the future. If you're a fan of JRPGs this is a series you can't miss!

Diablo IV is an excellent game with huge potential for healthy growth, and with two expansions already announced! Blizzard has always accustomed us to engaging and passionate stories and it also does not disappoint with this new title which, in addition to the enormous graphic quality and the excellent voice acting work, becomes something delicious. With this quality and the number of hours that we can spend on this game, the price tag on the Standard Edition turns out to be more than justified, even if for our reality it may seem a bit steep. It seems to me to be a perfect ARPG for the more casual player, who comes home and wants to relax for 2~3 hours. Alone or with others, it's a super fun and challenging experience on the highest difficulties.

Marvel’s Spiderman 2 is a game that manages to present a quality consistent with its predecessors, while duly revised to the latest market standards. By fusing several narrative, gameplay and character characterization elements, it presents an experience that stands out from others within the genre. Persona 3 Reload has taken the excellent experience that the original title introduced and reworked it to meet the latest parameters of the video game industry. Not only did he refine what was well done, he also rectified the vast majority of its problems. It is a notable loss of an opportunity for improvement by not implementing sufficient mechanics that avoid the problem of repetitive exploration of Tartarus. However, it is a negative point, in a sea of excellence. If you liked Persona 5, then this is certainly a title for you. Additionally, it's a great way for newer players to get access to this experience.

Stellar Blade presents an extremely polished experience that seeks inspiration from well-known titles. Fortunately, Shift Up has managed to unify these elements of different natures in a coherent and effective way, making the final result more than just the sum of its parts. The sexualization of the protagonist, although serving a commercial purpose, is also clearly a reflection of the culture of the title's country of origin, and is duly justified during the game. In the end, we can't help but recommend that you try Stellar Blade, so that you can confirm that it is indeed much more than just a pretty face!

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition isn't just a technical rescue of a lost title on a forgotten console; it's an affirmation of the enduring value of Monolith Soft's vision. By bringing this sci-fi epic back with the care and respect it deserves, the team not only redeems the limitations of the original version, but also amplifies its impact. With enhanced visuals, a revitalized soundtrack, substantial performance improvements, and a narrative addition that more satisfyingly ties up some of the story's loose ends, this remaster offers a more cohesive, engaging, and immersive experience. Above all, it's a renewed invitation to explore Mira with new eyes, with the certainty that, even after nearly ten years, the heart of this journey beats with the same force. For those who have already experienced this world, it's a thrilling return. For those just joining, it's the ideal opportunity to experience one of the most daring and atmospheric adventures in Nintendo history.

Life Is Strange: True Colors is a remarkable experience for any player. It's biggest problem is effectively its legacy and need to keep up with the excellent quality of previous titles. The feeling of an experience below expectations is palpable, largely due to our expectations, a shorter story than usual and fewer locations to explore. Even so, it has some strengths: a more immersive soundtrack; a main character better characterized than in previous titles; surprising graphics and ambiance. If, by any chance, you've never played a title in this series, you will definitely be in love! If, on the other hand, you are fans of Life is Strange, we recommend entering this experience with moderate expectations and you certainly won't regret it!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a true tribute to the 80's and 90's series, capable of transporting us to feelings that we affectionately keep in the back of our mind. Even more so, it manages on its own merit, to stand out as a competent beat'em up for new generations that want to try it. This is an essential title for any lover of the genre and a great way to spend an evening well spent.

Hogwarts Legacy manages to transport us to a magical world of wizards, castles, magical creatures and lots of adventure. In this game, they will be able to truly feel what it would be like to spend a year at Hogwarts, visiting some of its most iconic places. Whether or not you are a fan of the adventures of Harry Potter or Newt Scammader, you were certainly delighted with what the game presents.

If you're a player who really enjoyed Tsushima, Yōtei will be a huge hit: it delivers on what was already good, improves on many minor aspects, brings a new world to explore, a strong protagonist, and beautiful environments. However, if you were expecting something that would be a narrative revolution or a character with existential doubts, internal sacrifices, and that intense emotional arc like Jin's, you might be a little disappointed: Atsu is simpler in this regard, more direct. All in all, I recommend Ghost of Yōtei. It's well worth it, but with the caveat that it's "more of the same, but improved," rather than a true revolution. Perhaps in the future, Sucker Punch will venture even further into this aspect of emotional growth.

I can say without a doubt that Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a celebration of what makes video games special. From the hand-crafted art and composed music to the voice acting and the humor that accompanies us from beginning to end… everything here screams authenticity. It's a tribute to the past and proof that there's room for the genre in the future. It's essentially a title for those who grew up with graphic adventures, but the truth is it also has enough elements to stand out and attract new players. In the end, a fun, beautiful, and soulful game appeals to everyone!

Shin Megami Tensei V is a solid experience of what the series can present to the player. Never taking any chances with the formula, it introduces an interesting world, but one that tends to compare too much with other releases in the same series. Some better design choices could have been considered, mainly to avoid midgame repeatability, which tended to sharply accentuate during our time with this title. For fans of the genre, it is certainly an option to consider, but do not foresee a significant evolution or a reformulation of its dynamics, as it may lead to serious disappointment.

Final Fantasy:Crisis Core Reunion is one of the best remasters I've ever played. With a completely overhauled look for today market, refined gameplay and a renowned soundtrack, it's easily one of the best RPGs of the year. Despite some details that could be worked better, this is a title that will truly delight fans and give due prominence to a great character in this world.

Persona 3 Portable is an excellent title that allows newer players, for a very affordable price, to gain access to one of the best RPGs on PlayStation 2…albeit in a “lite” version. Still, it would have made perfect sense to have been released a more complete version of this title or one witb added bonus components to this particular title (such as concept art, soundtrack, or producer commentary). However, some work by the publisher in revitalizing this particular title for the current market is notorious. If you liked Persona 5, you'll already know what to expect here: The bases where “everything” came from... in a more "Lite" way!
