8.5 / 10.0 - Shovel Knight
Jul 5, 2014

Creating a title like Shovel Knight requires a boundless love for the great classics of the NES era, as well as an absolute understanding of their mechanics. The work of Yacht Club Games is a tribute of the highest quality, which does not reinvent anything but shuffle the best of the masterpieces of the past to the great and boasts a gameplay with enviable solidity. Put simply, it's yet another indie not to be missed. Nostalgic or not, give us a thought.

The 343 could not be wrong with this collection and, by God, they did not. The Master Chief Collection is a pack with mammoth content, which contains the best versions currently available of all the adventures of Master Chief, as well as a monstrous and potentially infinite multiplayer compartment and countless extras. We're not usually big fans of HD remakes, but when the quality is that we can just bow our heads and let it pass. If you love Halo and have an Xbox One, this collection is a must have.

8.5 / 10.0 - Pillars of Eternity
Apr 12, 2015

Pillars is a great western RPG, a very rich title, with complex gameplay, with this curated, beautifully written dialogue and an impressive care for almost every aspect. However, much of its greatness comes from those who preceded it, those Baldur's Gate and that Planescape Torment that traced the furrow on which Obsidian's last work calmly lingers. Hearts of Stone is in all respects a big questline, inserted in the original campaign and set almost entirely on the same map that we have already learned about. Yet Cd Projekt has managed to make it an epic and curated adventure, which largely dampens the main flaws of the basic game and enhances with its compelling narrative.

8.5 / 10.0 - Halo 5: Guardians
Oct 27, 2015

If from Halo 5: Guardians you were expecting an incredible qualitative leap of the campaign and the storyline, we are sorry to disappoint you, but in the work of 343 you will find only a one-off adventure that is predictable and repetitive. The courage that the developers did not have here, however, magically appeared when it was time to touch gameplay and multiplayer, and the latest in the series has therefore been revolutionized in both aspects, with dry improvements. on both sides. Let go of the attachment to the past for a moment and enjoy the new Halo. If it's multiplayer that you wait for it foaming at the mouth every time, there is great news for you.
