The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes is unfortunately a step backwards compared to the previous episodes of the series, at least in terms of the script, atmosphere and technical realization. The affordable price makes it interesting for those who don't want to miss a single chapter of the anthology, but others should turn to the previous chapters or wait for a possible fourth episode capable of bringing the horror series back on the right tracks.

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water is an old-fashioned horror title capable of delivering many thrills thanks to a well-written storyline, anxiety-inducing atmosphere and unique gameplay, provided, however, you can turn a blind eye to the problems related to controls, the little care taken in graphics improvements and the lack of localization for several western languages.

6.5 / 10.0 - Rust
Jul 11, 2021

Rust Console Edition is an addictive multiplayer survival game that will give great satisfaction only to those who will embrace its philosophy based on cooperation and PvP fights, without which the gaming experience is likely to become too frustrating. In addition, the game is suffering from a very poor technical realization, so as to seem an early access game rather than a full one. Given these issues, it is only advisable to super-enthusiasts of the genre.

6.8 / 10.0 - Wanted: Dead
Feb 14, 2023

Wanted: Dead is only half a successful experiment. The idea of mixing the shooter genre with the hack'n'slash action game one is good, but it is dwarfed by the shallowness of some of the mechanics, a substandard technical realisation and problematic balancing.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a multiplayer title with good potential, but it doesn't manage to express all its qualities in the right way. The excellent level design and artistic component end up being overshadowed by technical problems, a lack of content and, above all, a limited and unbalanced matchmaking system.

7 / 10.0 - The Chant
Nov 17, 2022

The Chant is a fun horror adventure with its own personality, but it fails to reach 100% of its potential due to a too predictable script and a technical compartment plagued by several shortcomings.

7 / 10.0 - Thymesia
Aug 24, 2022

Thymesia sports a compelling story coupled by an intriguing souls-like combat system, but it's constrained by excessively linear levels and complete lack of any dubbing. Regardless, if you're looking for a challenging action game, you should definitely give it a chance.

7.5 / 10.0 - Immortals of Aveum
Sep 18, 2023

The gameplay crafted by Ascendant Studios, albeit without any particular creative flourishes, is fun and involving for the entire duration of the adventure, supported by a script that, despite some unoriginal writing and sometimes too childish dialogues, contributes to keeping the title enjoyable from start to finish. An FPS that, also due to optimisation problems, fails to express its potential, but is nevertheless able to provide a few hours of fun to all lovers of the genre.

7.5 / 10.0 - Batora: Lost Haven
Oct 19, 2022

Batora: Lost Haven is an entertaining sci-fi adventure with an appealing graphical style, albeit with some flaws. Recommended if you like action titles with an isometric view and you're looking for a thought-provoking story, but without ever being too challenging.

7.5 / 10.0 - Edge of Eternity
Feb 10, 2022

Edge of Eternity is a true love letter to the JRPGs of the late nineties, an ambitious title that seeks to modernize a classic formula without distorting it. The end result is an imperfect role-playing game, but still capable of entertaining and exciting the player thanks to an engaging combat system and a first-class script, along with a top-quality soundtrack. Surely capable of satisfying the lovers of the genre.

7.5 / 10.0 - Operation: Tango
Jul 18, 2021

An engaging co-op adventure, capable of providing a few hours of healthy fun thanks to a decent variety of situations and fun mini-games. Something more could definitely be done on the longevity front, but given the price and the presence of the Friend Pass, this is a flaw on which you can turn a blind eye if you are looking for an exciting and full of puzzles adventure with which to spend a couple of evenings with a friend.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a two-sided coin. On one side we find stunning graphics and a great plot that still manages to captivate us after 18 years, while on the other side we find some meaningful shortcomings that could have been avoided re-designing some aspects of the original game. Despite this, it's still a suggested buy both for people who loved the original game and for the ones that never played it.

7.5 / 10.0 - Battletoads
Aug 20, 2020

Battletoads delivers a fun and challenging 2D action experience with a good variety between fighting, platforming and other game styles, and with a great soundtrack. It unluckily ended up being a bit too short, and lack of online co-op is a real letdown.

7.7 / 10.0 - High on Life
Dec 30, 2022

High On Life combines simple FPS gameplay with an attractive design, a wide variety of weapons, and exaggerated writing that makes every moment unforgettable. Although it has some shortcomings, such as the simple enemy AI and little variety during firefights, it stays fun and engaging, and although it doesn't revolutionize the genre, it's an excellent choice for those who like over-the-top humour and original ideas and want to spend about 12 hours of fun.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a good sequel, even if a bit rough in some places, offering us an open world as ambitious as imperfect, with excellent gameplay and lots of content. Nevertheless, it could have benefited from more technical cleanliness and attention to some key aspects such as A.I. and writing. Still, it has all the cards in order to satisfy those who loved the first chapter or those looking for a different action title from the usual.

Minecraft Legends is an accessible and easy to master RTS, capable of delivering many hours of enjoyment to every kind of player. Something more could have been done for content variety and to strengthen the plot, but it remains a game that both veterans and newbies to the RTS genre should try.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty stakes everything on its combat system, a fascinating setting, and excellent game structure. However, the game remains hampered by an underwhelming technical realization and balancing problems. Still, these minor flaws do not prevent it from offering a viable option for all gamers looking for a spectacular action game.

We Were Here Forever is the most ambitious and most successful title in the co-op puzzle series, capable of delivering a one-of-a-kind cooperative experience thanks to a long series of puzzles perfectly integrated within the story. Too bad about the absence of the Buddy Pass, which would have allowed two friends to play together without having to buy the game twice.

8 / 10.0 - Soulstice
Sep 19, 2022

Soulstice combines a fascinating setting, two well-characterized protagonists, an engaging storyline and a gameplay that, albeit with a few smears, is capable of providing many hours of fun. It's not a perfect game, with the troublesome camera handling as its major flaw, but it's still a game that every lover of third-person action games should consider.

8 / 10.0 - Little Orpheus
Sep 12, 2022

Little Orpheus is a truly enjoyable and well-packaged adventure, with a great storyline, a sparkling script and a setting capable of capturing the player's attention from start to finish. The extremely linear gameplay doesn't mesh too well with console game standards, but it is undoubtedly a title to behold.
