Peaky Blinders: Mastermind surprised us with a very satisfying and well-thought-out "time rewind/record" mechanism that makes us feel like a real gang mastermind like Tommy Shelby was, perfectly orchestrating and timing all our companions actions. Some controls might have been better refined, but it's definitely a game to try, even for people who never watched the TV series.

An intimate and compelling story, with great characterization and environments. It brilliantly manages to represent a transgender character without falling in clichés and stereotypes, normalizing him and making him part of a wider, intense drama. We would have liked a more varied gameplay and interactivity though, as the experience is mainly limited to basic exploration, object interaction, and dialogues.

Marvel's Avengers nails plot and characterization, giving us an absolutely lovable Kamala Khan and delivering some stunning and single-player missions. Where the game disappoints is in the many co-op missions, which feel too repetitive and uninteresting, and in a bit too many bugs. The end result is a mixed bag between a great single-player third-person action-adventure and a disappointing GaaS experience.

Halo Infinite is 100% classic Halo, even with innovations like the grappling hook and the open-world structure that, in fact, leverage the very elements that made the series a great video game classic. 343 Industries has nailed game structure, gameplay, gunplay, AI, graphics and music, but stumbled with inexcusable flaws - especially after such a long wait - in variety and replayability. The game will still keep you glued to the controller though, so there's little doubt: Master Chief is back and he's in great shape.

Cyberpunk 2077's ultimate console version reaffirms the splendid storytelling, exceptional city-building and varied gameplay of the original game, while also being more polished, enriched and finally featuring performance and visuals worthy of new consoles. There is no shortage of smears and residual issues, but it still stands as an excellent first-person RPG, set in a fascinating retro-sci-fi world full of things to do and compelling stories to live. Definitely a must-have.

As Dusk Falls is an adult, dramatic adventure with unusual artistic choices, yet functional to an ever engaging narrative. Almost similar to an interactive TV series, it will keep you glued to the screen until the end, eager to discover the fate of the many realistically and often starkly delineated characters, but also to explore the many ramifications of the story. The excellent acting, moreover, succeeds in making the most of such a production. Too bad for a few technical issues lightly impacting the enjoyment of the game, but it is definitely a highly recommended experience for lovers of narrative adventures and TV crime dramas.

Bright Memory: Infinite is an interesting production primarily thanks to its combat system, which successfully mixes firearms, melee attacks and the use of powers, aided by an undoubtedly powerful visuals, albeit in a linear and static world. The Callisto Protocol is a raw and brutal sci-fi survival horror with extremely physical, challenging, and visceral combat and a first-rate graphical compartment. Layers of Fear is an excellent repackaging of the original games, with a considerable graphical leap, benefitting the atmosphere and the level of immersion. We rediscover, enriched with new content, distressing stories and environments that seem sprung from the mind of a madman, with a gameplay that remains anchored to the narrative adventure mechanics. Even if we don't find major structural improvements, it remains recommended to lovers of the genre.
