Naughty Dog took the first The Last of Us and improved it in The Last of Us Part 2. The game is an excellent action-adventure experience, that mixes stealth, action and horror components into a truly involving video-game.

9.5 / 10.0 - Hi-Fi Rush
Mar 31, 2024

Hi-Fi Rush arrives on PlayStation 5 in its best form, offering its wonderful mix of action and rythym gameplay. Fun to play, wonderful to look at and satisfying to listen to, Tango Gameworks' title could only do better in the implementation of DualSense, because otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a conscious sequel to the first chapter and the one about Miles Morales. Insomniac Games' game succeeds in improving the pace of the story and its gameplay. On the other hand, it does not innovate on its open world formula, still lacking quality in side activities.

What The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered lacks is consistency. It's been too few years to see the potential of a remastered game, especially when the original title has a sublime technical compartment. The Lost Levels and Campaign Commentary turn out to be the best extra content, while the No Return mode is out of context.

8.7 / 10.0 - Metroid Dread
Nov 4, 2021

Metroid Dread represents the highest point of the experience gained in 35 years. It is the valid successor of the previous ones. With its ten hours of gameplay, the fifth chapter of this storic 2D saga leads us to explore all of ZDR while we look for all the power ups.

8.7 / 10.0 - Diablo IV
Jun 19, 2023

Diablo 4 is definitely intuitive, easy to understand for new players and great fun to play, especially in multiplayer but highly enjoyable in single player as well. Blizzard has done a great job in creating a truly satisfying game world, thanks to its campaign mode and how it creates synergy with everything in the Endgame.

While some upgrades expand on gameplay and story, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut seems more like an extension of the main game. Sucker Punch focused their effort into refining the technical aspect from the original game. This Director’s Cut offers the best Ghost of Tsushima experience to date.

8.5 / 10.0 - Helldivers II
Feb 25, 2024

Helldivers 2 is an excellent Live Service that has the ability to capture players and keep them glued to the screen for hours on end. So many mechanics that are accessible to all are the key to the success of Arrowhead Games Studio's title, which must continue to support the game not only on the content side, but also on the technical side.

8.3 / 10.0 - Returnal
May 9, 2021

Returnal is a beautiful PlayStation 5 exclusive that mixes a third person shooter with several aspects of the roguelike and bullet hell genres. The Housemarque’s game is an interesting newcomer: it is funny, but at the same time difficult, and it never bores while you start over a run again, and again, and again.

Thanks to its good gameplay and wonderful technical aspects, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales is a funny product that people who love the spider-verse will appreciate. The longevity is not something particularly special, although we enjoyed every moment we spent into Insomniac Games and Miles Morales’ Manhattan.

7.8 / 10.0 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Apr 13, 2022

Ghostwire Tokyo is a journey into Japanese folklore that comes from a development team that lives every day the daily life of its people and understands the darker sides of it. It suffers some lack in its narrative structure, but fortunately recovers thanks to well-made side missions and a Tokyo too beautiful to see and interesting to discover.

Arizona Sunshine 2 is in part a missed opportunity. While we are faced with a title with fun gameplay and a well-crafted shooting system, we cannot remain impassive to the laziness found in writing a story with more bite or making the environments and zombies a little more varied.

6.7 / 10.0 - Lila's Sky Ark
Apr 21, 2022

Lila’s Sky Ark is an amazing journey that brings Lila’s adventure on our Nintendo Switch. Its colorful world and cool gameplay combine for a great experience, ultimately brought down from excellence by the unsatisfying narrative, culminating in a subpar Epilogue

6.5 / 10.0 - A Fisherman's Tale
Sep 8, 2023

A Fisherman's Tale arrives on PSVR2 with a good porting that enhances Sony's hardware. The incipit and the basic idea are really good, but the game fails to take off making the gameplay repetitive for more than half the experience, with puzzles that are easy to solve.

6.3 / 10.0 - Marvel's Avengers
Sep 29, 2020

Marvel’s Avengers doesn’t appear like any other Game as a Service. Crystal Dynamics did a great job on single player, but the multiplayer mode feels boring and repetitive. There are a lot of useless and irrelevant activities and the quality of the endgame is so cheap.

6.2 / 10.0 - Arboria
Apr 30, 2020

Arboria is a roguelike that mixes dark level design with hack-n-slash 3D gameplay. The gameplay is fun, but the biggest problem of the game is that rooms and mobs are repetitive. It impacts the general experience that results boring after one or two runs.

5 / 10.0 - Devil's Hunt
Sep 24, 2019

While Devil’s Hunt tries to aim high, with a great attention for details in the story department, the technical aspect is terrible and outdated, and the gameplay feels boring and repetitive.
