Sword of the Necromancer is a gem of a game. While visually it can look a little repetitive, the game is honestly a ton of fun. I think this one may be a game people remember for a long time.

Encodya, is a charming point and click adventure, that harkens back to the glory days of the Genre. While Grim Fandango this is not, people who love the genre, will love Encodya.

3 / 5.0 - Glyph
Mar 5, 2021

I wanted to enjoy Glyph more than I did. The framework is there: fluid gameplay, beautiful art style, and with over one hundred levels, the game will keep a determined gamer entertained for many hours. But the developers set an unreasonably high bar for progression; one that required me to put the game down multiple times out of exasperation. Newer gamers: beware, but for seasoned players looking for a real challenge, Glyph could be your next rage-inducing favorite.

I think the main problem with Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 as a whole, is it doesn't know what it wants to be. It gets stuck somewhere in between wanting to be an arcade style racer, and a Monster Truck Sim, and because of this, it fails in both categories, and leaves no one happy. Skip this one.

Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan if a perfect starter RPG, and has enough charm and variation to keep the seasoned player entertained. While it can be a bit long winded at times, I think that you'd be missing out if you didn't give this one a shot.

SNK Vs Capcom Card Fighters Clash is honestly, a huge disappointment. It has some good visuals, but the actual gameplay is just boring, and bad. Skip this one all together.

Beyond the mechanics of the expansion, something Murder at Castle Nathria succeeds in, is the flavor. The idea that this is a murder mystery goes great with the cards released like Murloc Holmes, and works great with the mechanics of the set.

Squad 51 vs. the Flying Saucers is honestly pretty great. You can just tell this game was made with love, and it shows. Between the unique FMV approach to Shmups, and it just being an overall good game, I'd say give it a go, even if the price point is a little bit much.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a perfect game through and through. The level design is amazing, the story is charming, and the score is fantastic. I know I mentioned this before in the intro, but even though this is a rerelease, I'd say this is my game of the year so far. Genuinely perfect in every way.

Pokémon Scarlet is just a ton of fun. The gameplay is engaging, the battling is satisfying, and catching the 'Mons scattered throughout a vast open world is addicting. It's a shame the presentation doesn't hold up it's end of the bargain, BUT, if you can get past that like I did, I think Scarlet is a real gem.

4.1 / 5.0 - The Knight Witch

The Knight Witch is a super fun game an original take on a few different genres. While the game isn't perfect, I do think people should go out of their way to try it out.
