5 / 10.0 - Dex
Jan 24, 2021

Dex is a bit of a mixed bag. It’s atmosphere and characters are good enough for anyone to dive into. However, the combat, hacking, and menu systems are flawed. This will be a deal-breaker for those who want to uncover the truth but simply can’t get good. Dex does not lend itself properly to compliment its difficulty with unpolished mechanics, and the story alone won’t compensate this issue for many players.

6 / 10.0 - Dustoff Z
Feb 1, 2021

Dustoff Z is one of the friendliest zombie games you can play. The unstable difficulty is the only issue here, but it’s nothing to speak to the manager about. If you like helicopter controls, play this game. If not, then there are certainly other budget titles you can check out. Dustoff Z is easy to pick up with solid replay value, and is light-hearted fun we can all benefit from.

7 / 10.0 - Fracter
Feb 8, 2021

Fracter is a much needed deviation from the normalcies within the gaming realm. It also may introduce atmospheric puzzle games to new players and inspire inquisitive thinking. Loosen your grip on the controller and lower your mental firewall a little. As the credits roll, if you feel anything philosophically, spiritually, or even if you sense just a little goodness deep down, it’s safe to say that Fracter has done its job.

7 / 10.0 - Aqua Lungers
Feb 13, 2021

Aqua Lungers is definitely a niche title. Difficulty aside, the game is entertaining enough and designed to be experienced in real social circumstances for players looking to find the pleasure in pain. And for those few, it’ll do just the trick.

Hero-U is hopefully the first installment of a new franchise, granted the developers can continue their amazing work. This is one of the better genre revivals within the past couple of years and is well-suited for anyone in search of a curious and witty endeavor. Try to play this point-and-click adventure on PC.

What Raji: An Ancient Epic’s most notable point to take in is the limited personnel. Of course this debut title has a few cracks in the pavement, given the circumstance, but so was my audition tape to play guitar in a garage rock band. It’s exciting to see India make moves in hopes to secure relevancy in a growing global market. Support the artists here and purchase this game, so we can hopefully experience what Nodding Heads Games can accomplish under a full-scale operation.

3 / 10.0 - Decay of Logos
Mar 8, 2021

It’s never enjoyable to read off a list of all of the things wrong with a game. I did my best to keep an open and optimistic mindset during my experience with Decay Of Logos. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find many good things to say and can’t recommend this title. It’s not necessarily a broken game, just very rushed and unfinished. The glitches, slowdown, and mundane collection of motifs that have been done to death don’t add up to anything worth seeking out.

I enjoyed my time with The Innsmouth Case. The pacing is great and the atmosphere is captivating. While I do find that unlocking all endings may cause players to lose interest after some time, it doesn’t take away from my experience with the first couple of playthroughs. The endings I got were quite bizarre and unexpected and for that, I applaud. Spice it up after you finish, and read this story to someone else and let them make the choices.

6 / 10.0 - Worms Rumble
Mar 19, 2021

I wouldn’t dive into Worms Rumble looking for the original nuts and bolts if you’re an older player. I can easily picture that scenario since there are already a plethora of Worms titles and remasters on Steam. But if you seek a 2D Run N’ Gun multiplayer experience, you’ll have some fun. This game will stay relevant as long as there are enough players online to carry the torch. Without them, I can easily see it fall into obscurity.
