8.5 / 10.0 - Visage
Nov 16, 2020

Visage achieves a real tour de force. It allows itself to put us in confidence and control before destroying us in the most efficient way. The chapters being all different, the game is renewed each time. Its atmosphere and its difficulty turn it into a game that you shouldn't put in all hands. In my opinion, Visage is a success and you should give it a chance at least once in your life (if you feel up to it).

7.5 / 10.0 - The Medium
Feb 2, 2021

The Medium is another proof that you should not stop at the first impression. I started a bit disappointed, but I ended up in awe of the very touching story and the innovative duality of the game. Although, it is only the first steps in a 3rd person world for Bloober Team, we can say that they succeeded implementing this new approach. I recommend you give it a shot as the more you will play it, the more you will want to uncover its mysteries.

8 / 10.0 - Skate City
May 3, 2021

Skate City is a game I recommend for all the fans of Tony Hawk. Beginners and veterans will find something interesting in this highly satisfying game. You will have a ton of fun skateboarding accross the different cities and the many facilities at your disposition.

Resident Evil Village is a melting pot of many ideas taken from previous Resident Evil with a really captivating scenario. Capcom really mastered the atmosphere of the game which adapts itselfs perfectly according to the situation the player is facing while making us umcomfortable as if something was always watching. We can't help but take pity on the poor Ethan who's involved in all of this despite him. I think this is an enormous success that continues what Resident Evil 7 had done to refresh the franchise and we're looking forward to what's ahead.

Song of Horror is a good game for those who like to complete puzzles in a scary atmosphere. The story is remarkably interesting and the possibility of losing permanently some of our characters is rather troubling. Furthermore, the fact that you have random encounters with « The Presence » makes each run fun. The controls and the camera will not please everyone, but it might bring some good souvenirs to others.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a unique and troubling experience. Not everyone should play it as the themes are profoundly serious and mature and the psychological horror part doubles down on that. However, it tells a very compelling story surrounded by an immersive atmosphere. Be ready to come out highly impacted by its ending.

7.5 / 10.0 - Tormented Souls
Aug 24, 2021

Tormented Souls isn't for everyone. The static cameras and the difficulty of the puzzles may repel some players and attract others. Being a fan of the genre, I can only appreciate the quality offered by this one. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys classic survival horror. You will not be disappointed.

Life is Strange: True Colors is a high quality storytelling experience. The game doesn't focus on the action, but rather on telling a story. Very well developed characters as well as a mysterious plot pushes us to keep playing until the end. The game has a few technical flaws, but that won't stop you from enjoying Alex's story.

8 / 10.0 - In Sound Mind
Sep 27, 2021

In Sound Mind is an experience to be had. The game relies above all on its plot and its atmosphere to lead the player to question the protagonist and what really happened to his patients. Despite some shortcomings, it is really addicting and you will have a lot of fun exploring the subconscious of different people.

The Eternal Cylinder is a nice surprise. Both the multiple mutations of the Trebhums and the fauna of the planet are impressive. The beauty and originality of the game far outweigh the repetitive nature of the objectives. The game reveals itself gradually to leave us swooning in front of this fantastic world.

8 / 10.0 - Martha is Dead
Feb 24, 2022

Martha is Dead is a game that takes a lot of risks. The story told as well as the plot surrounding Martha's death is extremely well written. I was eager to know the end of the story. The realism as well as the many objectives to be carried out will push you to search every corner in search of clues. It should be noted that the game is extremely graphic and the violence is shown without filter (in the uncensored version) in addition to forcing you to participate. The violent scenes serve to show us the state of mind of our character. The game is very disturbing as well as uncomfortable, but its what makes it stand out.

Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? is a cool title that will keep you busy for a few hours. The plot is well put together and everything is explained if you manage to get the best ending. The fact that it's always the same poison and the same suspect will cause the majority of players to move on as soon as the right conclusion is found. Even though some evidences are obtained in a sort of unpredictable way, I had a lot of fun carrying out the investigation.

7 / 10.0 - Oxide: Room 104
Jun 27, 2022

Oxide Room 104 is a good little horror game. The atmosphere put forward is perfectly successful and the puzzles are very logical. They will be particularly appreciated by fans of escape games who will see several similarities. There are some problems with texture reflections, but they do not spoil our experience. Oxide focuses primarily on puzzles and not fights. Despite the fact that there's isn't a wide range of diversity, the design of the monsters is very well thought out. If you want a game that's not too long and like horror and puzzles, this game is for you.

Fobia - St. Dinfna Hotel isn't a perfect game, but it is extremely satisfying. The game focuses above all on the atmosphere and the puzzles while the monsters look like were added without much thought. Without any guide, it will take you about ten hours to overcome the secret of St. Dinfna. If you like action games, you won't like your experience here. On the other hand, if you love to explore at a slow place to discover all its mysteries through puzzles and secret passages, Fobia will keep you spellbound.

7.5 / 10.0 - MADiSON
Jul 14, 2022

I really liked MADiSON. Despite some frustrations with the lighting and certain portions of the game, this one is very well done. The story that we discover through newspaper clippings, audio cassettes or flashbacks is captivating. For my part, I wanted to continue to know the rest of the story even if I had been stuck at the same point for an hour. The puzzles generated with each new game force you to understand the solution well especially if you want to redo the game. If the developers fix the technical problems and the one big bug on PlayStation, MADiSON will be a must in terms of psychological horror. My rating did not take this last issue into consideration.

7 / 10.0 - Voyage
Aug 13, 2022

Voyage is a good little game that's worth discovering. The game aims to be a simple and relaxing experience in a very artistic settings. To that extent, we can say that it delivers. However, the simplicity is not for everyone and some players will not like this lack of challenge. Voyage is unfortunately very short and would have deserved other environments with other puzzles. I recommend you try it when you want to sit down, relax and not think too much.

9.5 / 10.0 - Immortality
Aug 30, 2022

Immortality is an experience in itself. The game is hugely ambitious, but manages to deliver on every level. You will be on the tip of your toes for many hours trying to discover the fate of Marissa Marcel. Immortality is a total success. I guarantee you will be surprised by what you discover throughout the story reels.

8 / 10.0 - Potion Permit
Sep 28, 2022

If you like Animal Crossing-style games, you'll definitely like Potion Permit. This title has a unique concept and solid foundations to create real addiction. There is always something to do and it's hard to stop playing. Healing residents, renovating the town, building relationships, and gathering resources are just a few possible activities to do. Believe me, Potion Permit is worth a look!

This direct sequel to the main game brings some interesting elements, but does not answer any questions we had following Resident Evil Village. In fact, it does the opposite, because it adds questions. Capcom said that it was the end of the Winters saga, which means these questions may never be answered. It's also a shame that there are so few new environments, Capcom reusing several locations from Village. The change from 1st person to 3rd person as well as the addition of telekinetic powers won't be to everyone's taste, but it's very well executed. Don't get me wrong, this is a solid expansion, but it could have been so much more.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is an excellent installment of this popular series. The changes made to bring the game to the next generation consoles (and to bring it to the world) are successful. The only downside is the pixelated floor and wall textures when we are close. A modernization of the controls would have been appreciated since it is very difficult to be precise. Fatal Frame IV has a very interesting storyline with a lot of details. Once you have adapted to the controls, you will have a lot of fun confronting the spectres of the place. If you like survival horror, I can only advise you to try Fatal Frame IV without delay!
