The game contains challenging battles to match the RPG genre (even most of them were pretty easy), a graphic that can catch the essence of the Anime's exaggerated expression and the story of the past that the Straw Hat Pirates of present look back on. However, the worst conveniences can make you quit the game before you even experience them.

Ron Gilbert, who started the series, focused on continuing the adventure from Monkey Island 2. You can easily find out that his unique sense of humor remains still to date.
