Wreckfest, an intense vehicular combat game by Bugbear, has leapt into the next-gen with its PS5 upgrade. Newcomers will certainly enjoy the mayhem and chaos it brings to derby racing. However, those who are already familiar with the game might wish to read a review or two before deciding whether the upgrade is worth the price tag.
After spending some time as a PS4 exclusive, Erica has made its way onto PC. As an interactive movie game it excels in combining good cinematography with the interactivity of video games to present a captivating thriller whose ending you can decide. While the genre might not be for everyone, Erica is a high quality movie game that will please anyone who is interested in these types of experiences.
Life is Strange: True Colors is a culmination of all the little things the previous games in the series have gotten right, with a fat slice of innovation added on top. For series veterans, the game is not to be missed. For those who have yet to touch a Life is Strange game, this review may let you know if True Colors is a good entry point.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is easy to recommend to Fate newcomers who will have no problem jumping into the game. Series fans will also enjoy it, as they’ll be able to appreciate the references on a different level. In a year that is filled with major releases seemingly every week, Fate/Samurai Remnant manages to be worth your time from its opening scene to its last hours.
After spending a week with Alan Wake 2 and finally seeing the credits, I can say that it’s one of my favorite titles in an extremely competitive year. Not only has it redefined what I believe video game narratives are capable of, but it also left me invigorated to see how Remedy will innovate once again.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this. Your time and money is better spent elsewhere.
Not for Broadcast is a work of art that proves just how good FMV games can get when they’re done right. It’s about ten hours long, but with multiple endings, you can get way more time out of it through multiple playthroughs. I recommend Not for Broadcast: VR, even if you’ve played the original flatscreen version. It’s just that good.
Never played the game before? Well, I don’t think it’s worth piling on any more praise, except to say this is about as good as it gets when it comes to Sony’s cinematic over-the-shoulder third-person action-adventure experience.
Kill the Justice League is the epitome of, “it gets good X hours in.” It’ll suck at first, then it’ll show you it’s capable of at least some moments of awesomeness. Fans of the DC universe may find a little more value in it, especially if you value narrative over gameplay, but Rocksteady’s latest is simply okay – nothing more or less.
