10 / 10.0 - Elden Ring
Feb 23, 2022

Elden Ring is the embodiment of From Software's best work yet. Top-notch quality of another huge soulslike adventure persists, especially in the cryptically epic story cowritten by George R. R. Martin and in the ingeniously vast and visually stunning world of Lands Between that sets the new standard for open world games. And of course, you can expect a lot of dying, rolling, and rage-quitting. Elden Ring is a must play for every fan, but it also makes so many good steps towards accessibility for greater audience.

Skywalker saga is a blocky nostalgic masterpiece that not only outbuilt every Lego game ever but perfected the established formula. Due to the ambition of reimagining all nine movies, the story sometimes suffers. However, it never fails to rekindle the child inside of you and gently persuades you into buying yet another Lego set.

Even though the infamous Nioh title absents in the Team Ninja's newest soulslike experience, there is no doubt that it possesses the very same qualities as its predecessors. Visceral and hardcore combat mechanics are used against the most horrific of demons. Our nameless hero will explore the chunks of a wonderful world inspired by the Romance of Three Kingdoms whilst trying to bring peace to a war-torn feudal China. This cryptically epic horse ride will surely confuse you, make you cry with rage and mostly teach you the art of parry timings'

9 / 10.0 - Humanity
May 16, 2023

Humanity is such a well-suited metaphor and a precise representation of an intriguing title, condensed into one single word. This game bends around established rules and genres, introduces creative mechanics and provides you with enormous amounts of food for thought. My best attempt at brief description would be something like this: Everything, everywhere, all at once and for everyone! Because this title has a little something for everyone, so you better get to playing'

It's a tale as old as time, retold story about a naive lie. But this one's bout a laggy metal boy, who swings a huge sharp sword and not a toy. Seek the secrets and discover what is there to be, of off the brilliant world, created by the somehow not impactful Lies of a naive boy named P!

9 / 10.0 - Pacific Drive
Feb 22, 2024

Olympic Peninsula and its Exclusion Zone have hidden many secrets for more then three decades and now, after I got pulled in by a mysterious anomaly, it is finally time to reveal them all! But this is no happy tale of a handsome protagonist, but a mere mortal driver's storyline, which wiggles and twists around a postapocalyptic wasteland. And what better tool to navigate it than a sturdy vehicle, armored with the knowledge of brilliant scientists and quirky tech, that will surely protect me from the horrors of this dystopian world'

8.5 / 10.0 - MADiSON

When you're looking for a good psychological horror released in the last decade, Madison is more than a decent place to start. It surely has its cringy dialogue moments, but with a good pair of headphones, this game will make you scream like a baby, swear at every jumpscare and most of all you'll utterly hate instant cameras.

8.5 / 10.0 - LEGO Bricktales
Oct 12, 2022

Lego Bricktales is the type of game that completely fills you with nostalgic joy. Every time you go into the building mode it feels like opening a new lego set you just bought. Every time you jumble around the world it feels like playing with all your Legos in you tiny kids' bedroom. This game made me think hard about the physics-based Lego construction work I had to do and motivated me to think outside of the 'blocks'. It's fun, addicting, full of great humor and despite minor issues I had with the game, I must recommend this to every Lego fan.

8.5 / 10.0 - Hell Pie
Dec 21, 2022

Nate is the Demon of Bad Taste and as it is 'one of the most horrific deadly sins' (for like two people in the world), he is summoned by the very Satan, to collect all the necessary ingredients for his birthday pie. Hence the confusingly hilarious name that perfectly summarizes the plot of Hell Pie. This disgustingly wonderful 3D platforming adventure will not only make you search unique worlds to complete Devils shopping list, but it will most definitely make you gag too, laugh out loud quite a lot, and also offer a hellish kind of challenge.

8.5 / 10.0 - Tinykin
Mar 27, 2023

Tinykins as the name suggests, are not only the tiniest, but also the cutest of useful helpers who will assist the scientist Milodane on his wholesome journey across this typical, insects infested human household. This staple of relaxing game marries addictive gameplay and creative game mechanics with adorable visuals and peaceful soundtrack. This must play hidden gem draws a lot of inspiration from the infamous Pikmin series, but it does this just as gracefully as Milo slides across the many rooms on his dope soapsurf.

8.5 / 10.0 - Darkest Dungeon II
May 9, 2023

Darkest Dungeon 2 is truly a 'streamlined, unnecessary genres dropping and infinitely expanding' evolution of its predecessor. This beautiful work of harmoniously coexisting design and mechanics reminds me of an enormous roguelike jug filled to the brim with horrifyingly hardcore gameplay, many difficult choices, huge 50+ hours long campaign and a whole bunch of Lovecraftian horror! Oh and there are cute pets riding on your stagecoach too.

We often regard remakes and remasters as a corporate form of quick profit, but every now and then a unique title like Brothers Remake appears unexpectedly and you finally recognize what a true videogame labor of love is. It's a project created with passion and true dedication of the authors to recreate something resembling the original as closely as possible and yet sprinkle here and there a little bit of originality and tiny improvements. Even though this tale of two sons is more than ten years old, this remake shows that it is still worth telling!

8 / 10.0 - Sifu
Feb 11, 2022

Sifu made me regequit handful of times and yet it quickly became one of my favorites, especially thanks to its bald and punishing learning curve, that pushes you into mastering all sorts of moves and combos. French studio Sloclap delivers a typical revenge story, that is wrapped in a clever level design and excellent gameplay mechanics.

8 / 10.0 - Gran Turismo 7
Mar 2, 2022

If you searched for synonyms to racing simulator genre, Gran Turismo 7 would surely come up first. New game plays it safe, and you get exactly what you pay for. Stunning graphics, great simulation mechanics, huge amount of car alterations and humongous number of cars themselves. There is lot to see and experience but unfortunately a lot to read too. After many races I can tell you that career is good enough, but Music Rally was my jam (pun intended).
