Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my time and cannot recommend it as a must-play. I am unsure if anime fans might find more enjoyment in being able to interact with the world, but it is hard for me to see that as the saving grace for this game.

At first, the game was fun, but the frustrations and lack of polish showed through early.

5.5 / 10.0 - To The Rescue!
Nov 6, 2021

I really enjoyed the interactions with the dogs, seeing the small animations surrounding their feelings were some of the best moments I can think of while playing the game. It, unfortunately, couldn't outweigh the frustrations from the bugs, glitches, and subpar quality of the game in other areas.

6 / 10.0 - Skull and Bones

I had hoped that Skull and Bones might have been an underdog, and I had wished it had come out and surprised me. Unfortunately, it is undercooked and lacks direction.

My time with Knight Crawlers, although initially frustrating, was rather enjoyable. I appreciated it more after discovering a small team designed and created the game.

The difficulty in these games challenged me in a way I hadn't known for a long time. If it wasn't for the additional options, I might not have had the chance to get through a couple of these games. In stating this, I had more fun playing these games with a second player. The collection has been put together with care and ran well on the PS5, and while these games are fun, I prefer the newer TMNT: Shredders Revenge for its updated features and playability over these aging titles.

I hope that Ubisoft can return to its roots and start looking at shrinking the worlds and focusing on the characters and lore. If there is a big positive note with Ragnarök, it is that this game could have been a stand-alone title. With the focus on the main character and the story unfolding the way it does, it has strengths over what was introduced with Assassin's Creed Valhalla's release.

6.5 / 10.0 - Little Kite

I enjoyed my time with Little Kite, a short point-and-click adventure with themes that touched my heart. I felt for Mary and Andrew's situation. The art style lent itself to the game and made for a beautiful visual tale.

The WarioWare games have always been weird and wacky fun, and this latest instalment is no different. I had fun playing through the main story and seeing the result of Wario's vacation.

Have a Nice Death has solid slashing combat, 2D roguelike levels, with a great story. Although the levels are very similar, the story, challenging gameplay, great complimentary music, and industrialist main character will keep players coming back for more.

7 / 10.0 - Goat Simulator 3
Jan 5, 2023

Overall, Goat Simulator 3 is a game aimed at chaos and fun, while not perfect, it hits those beats often. Much like its predecessor, there is a lot to discover that needs to be added to the mini-map, while the missions are fun, and there is always more to do.

7 / 10.0 - Soda Crisis

The game would be a fun companion for a handheld device, hoping it will be released on other platforms such as the Nintendo switch. Overall, I had fun with this title, and if you are looking for a fun game to blow off steam, this might be the title for you.

Captain ToonHead vs the Punks from Outer Space is a refreshing and fun change-up from the standard VR titles I have played in the past. The tower defence is the perfect kind of playground to enjoy.

In summary, while Diablo IV has been released with a few annoying issues, the gameplay is enjoyable, and I enjoy the story. Unfortunately, the game hasn't been able to keep me invested after the story was complete.

While turn-based tactical battle games are not my forte, I did enjoy my time with the game. The hard-won battles felt earned, and the losses taught me to change up and improve my strategies.

While the game has its negatives, I have enjoyed it, and I hope others will too. My experience was mostly positive, and it was definitively easier with a second person on the controls.

A great addition to any games night, with no need for fancy controllers, and enough variety that there is a game for everyone.
