Unfortunate Incidents is a nice point-and-click title for those who don’t mind a slow burn. I can see this appealing to those who are itching for a mystery and want to try something a little different from bigger mystery games. It’s interactive and interesting, though the pacing plot and music could be better. It wasn’t quite my cup of tea.

The Scorchfarer is a nice visual novel that implements some interesting UI and story elements. It’s not for me, but I do think it’s worth a spin. I recommend it for the lovers of end of the world stories and those focused on character interactions.

Overall, I enjoyed Blackberry Honey. It was easy to get hooked on seeing how the characters and their relationships developed. That was the most memorable part of the game. It’s a nice visual novel.

Unlock The Cat is a cute game to play in bursts over the day. It’s the kind of game to curl up on a couch with while enjoying a nice cup of tea or on the commute for a few minutes of mindless fun. For puzzle fans, this is a sweet addition to the lineup.

Memories of East Coast is a nice little romp that gets you thinking about memories, guilt, and loss. It asks some interesting questions that I wish had been explored a little more. The art and music were a beautiful addition to the story. If you have a couple of free hours and want to ponder about life, I definitely recommend this story.

Where Cards Fall is a creative and lovingly made romp through the memories of young adulthood. It approached puzzle-platforming in a brilliantly whimsical way with art and music to match. The controls were frustrating here and there, but overall, I enjoyed my time with it.

Doom & Destiny Worlds is a solid open-world survival RPG game. Clocking in at about 40 hours, I think that fans of survival, grinding, and crafting will enjoy a fun romp through this game. For them, I definitely recommend it. For those like me who are more character and/or story-driven over mechanics and survival, I’d say give it a chance – as it could be a hit for you like Stardew Valley was for me – but this isn’t an essential pick-up.

Monster Harvest has the potential to be an excellent game. It has a fun premise, interesting points to the town and the story, and a beautiful open world to explore. However, it feels more than a little superficial and feels aimless in its execution of the story points. Hopefully, some updates to the game in the future bring out its fullest potential.

I enjoyed A Year Of Springs! The stories were sweet and thoughtful. While I do wish they were longer, that speaks to how much I enjoyed my time with Haru, Erika, and Manami. If you’re looking for an LGBTQ+ friendly game collection or a sweet story or two, then I definitely recommend this!

LoveChoice is a delightful little anthology that I absolutely got a kick out of. It had strong stories, interesting mechanics, beautiful art and music, and some real-life truths about relationships. It also had plenty of moments that made me go “aww”. There were only a few small drawbacks in the controls and slightly awkward writing. Overall, LoveChoice is a wholesome, but honest examination of relationships. I highly recommend it!

Land of Screens is a charming indie that extols the importance of getting off one’s phone to live in the real world sometimes. Thankfully, it’s not over the top or egregious about the topic, failing to demonize people who like social media. Instead, it allows for a more balanced message of taking it in doses and not forgetting that our problems that can seem so big online might be smaller than we think when we take some time away to reconnect to loved ones in real life. I would definitely recommend this title, particularly to people who enjoy talking to characters, solving problems, and the genres listed on this game.
