Crossfire X is a game truly of two halves and while neither is going to blow you away, it's a shame that two decent single player campaigns are completely let down by a lacklustre Multiplayer offering.

UFC 5 is a good game, but the move to a new engine isn't as revolutionary as it has been in the past for other EA franchises. Sure, it looks and sounds better, but I could never escape the feeling that I was just playing a nicer-looking UFC 4. If you have that game you don't need to buy this one, you'll enjoy your time all the same.

Immortals of Aveum is a game that I genuinely enjoyed every second I could play. It was well-paced, with fun and engaging gameplay. I want to love it but that love is limited by the fact I was unable to finish it.

Atlas Fallen is an enjoyable action game. Unfortunately, the story being so uninteresting and the outdated presentation combined with lots of bugs leave this fun moment-to-moment gameplay experience hard to recommend to everyone. At this moment in time, I would only recommend this game to those that are looking for something fun to play in co-op.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake neither sinks nor swims, it floats. This is a simple and well-executed game, likely too simple for the majority… but fun enough for young players and fans.

FC 24 is a familiar game that once again focuses on evolution over revolution. It makes some smart tweaks and additions to existing modes but they still feel mostly the same. The game looks and feels better than ever but when you aren't in control the AI often lets you down.

EA Sports PGA Tour is somewhat, par for the course, in many ways what I expected, retaining much of the previous few entries while adding more gameplay options and better simulation than ever before.

Two Point Campus is built on the strong foundations of its predecessor. When it works it's a great game! It's a shame that the experience is currently impacted by distracting bugs, that stop it from being on par with Two Point Hospital. Never the less one you'll liking enjoy if you played Hospital.

Sniper Elite 5 is held back by a presentation stuck in the past and a forgettable story. Ultimately well-designed missions, player freedom, and great moment-to-moment gameplay win out. Resulting in a game that is fun on your own or with a friend.

It may be too much of a step back for fans of the RPG-focused recent games. However, Assassin's Creed Mirage delivers an experience that successfully takes the series back to its stealth roots, finding its heart and soul again, which makes it a must-play for any traditional Assassin's Creed fans.

Ravenlok is a Zelda-inspired take on Alice in Wonderland with colourful characters and places to explore, thanks to its great presentation and simple but fun gameplay. It's a perfect game for any young children looking for a fun afternoon.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox was clearly crafted with love as it nails what it is to be a fantastic Metroidvania, wrapping it up in a Lovecraftian murder mystery. Every part of this game feeds wonderfully into the others, creating a great experience that is only really let down by some mechanical inconsistencies.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II is everything you'd want from a top-class FPS game. A great story full of action, memorable moments, and great characters. Fun, fast-paced gameplay with great multiplayer maps, customisation, and progression options. Even if you aren't a fan of PVP modes, the single-player campaign is worth the price of admission.

FIFA 23 is a fitting end to a great partnership between FIFA and EA. Perhaps the best representation of the real game we have ever had. An excellent send-off for a beloved franchise.

A masterful love letter to the films of Akira Kurosawa. Trek to Yomi’s inspirations are clear. It handles those inspirations with love and care. Ultimately standing on its own two feet as something unique in the current gaming space. Above all else, it is extremely fun to play!

A great sequel, that carries the legacy of a franchise and only improves on it. Lost Judgment is a triumph in many ways. That in the end is let down slightly by one big issue and a handful of smaller annoyances.

Football Manager 2024 doesn’t change much from last year’s game, but the changes it does make can greatly impact how you choose to play. Ultimately, it gives you the tools to live out your fantasy more than ever, making it a must-play for series fans.

Starfield is by a mile Bethesda Game Studios' best-ever game. It builds on everything they have done before and only improves it. Combat is smoother and more engaging than ever; the sense of discovery across this vast universe is astounding. It just isn’t as perfect as some people had expected and hoped for.
