Luckily, Starpoint Gemini 2 has Steam Workshop support, and I've already found mods that fix a lot of my major griefs. For the purpose of this review, however, I played without add-ons.

5 / 5.0 - Endless Legend
Oct 8, 2014

In spite of this, Endless Legend gets my full and unfettered recommendation. If you like strategy games, fantasy/science fiction hybrids, beautiful art, and just plain having fun, you should already be downloading Endless Legend from Steam today.

Neverending Nightmares tells a very dark and personal story. It is not a feel-good story, and the ending I received wasn't a happy one. The journey is simultaneously thrilling and somber, and it may leave you feeling a bit nauseous. And guess what? It's a gem of a game. If you are comfortable with feeling uncomfortable, and want an experience that feels heavy without feeling arduous, Neverending Nightmares is definitely a must buy.

The story isn't as engaging as say, Baldur's Gate II, but it's still serviceable in support of such fantastic gameplay hooks

The Last Federation's flavor text and tooltips are very entertaining, and you can tell the writers are very much in love with the world they've created. It's got a lot of heart, and a lot of good ideas, but fails to execute completely on any of them. It's a shame because, in its current state, The Last Federation is not a game I could recommend to anyone.
