Kandagawa Jet Girls is not a good racing game, and its not even a good fanservice game. Nothing from the developer's previous works can be found here, and we are left with a dull and uninteresting experience. The quality animations and unlockable content can't save this game, which makes me wonder why it was localized at all.

I feel rather mixed on this game. On the one hand, there are quite a few good things. I really enjoy the feel of racing, the way the shooting works, the courses, and quite a bit more. I liked the challenges too. Customization is great, with characters able to look completely different and performance upgrades being possible. Mini-games were a nice touch too. On the other hand, it’s far too easy. When I’m slowing down and waiting for opponents to catch up so I can shoot them to complete a challenge, it’s a serious problem. There are also issues with the user interface and loading, both of which slow things down a lot. The story wasn’t great either, but I don’t hold that against it too much as it’s primarily a jet racing game. I think the decider here is the price. It’s a reasonably expensive title for something with flaws that affect the experience so much. If it wasn’t for the difficulty issue, I’d have a much easier time fully recommending it as the racing gameplay is genuinely good. If it was less expensive, then it would be more justifiable as something to pick up to casually play with friends.

Kandagawa Jet Girls is a bit like a playable anime: It's enjoyable and delivers surprisingly many insights into Japanese culture. As a game, it's very light and, above all, very easy.

Kandagawa Jet Girls is a standard racing game with mega chesticle ladies all over it, the story is forgettable, the tracks are pretty plain but the characters are a colorful bunch!

Kandagawa Jet Girls might seem like it’s just a fanservice game. But that’s only part of it. Whether you love or hate games with an overflow of questionable outfits and provocative poses (not sure why you’d be playing it if you hated it, though), it shouldn’t be the only thing that you focus on with this game. Like with its sister series, Senran Kagura, there’s a legitimate game in here with some really fun and addictive gameplay. If you’re a diehard Marvelous and/or Takaki fan, you’re probably going to get the game regardless of what I say (which you should). But I also encourage people might be a little gunshy around this kind of thing to dive in as well. After all, life isn’t any fun if you don’t let loose from time to time.

Behind a questionable amount of fanservice and forgettable anime plotlines, lies a surprisingly decent mix between Wave Race and Mario Kart: Double Dash. Kandagawa Jet Girls is a legit fun title with interesting strategy mechanics in its gameplay loop, some colorful graphics, and passable soundtrack.

Kandagawa Jet Girls completely misses the marks that this niche expects from its games. Even if the toned down fanservice is a ploy to bring in more general gamers, the weak racing mechanics aren’t going to keep them around for long. Give this one a pass.

Overall, I’d say I’m quite divided on Kandagawa Jet Girls. It's a visually pleasing game with an entertaining story mode and likable characters. It also has a deep customization system and a variety of fun mini-games to play through. Despite this, the main racing mechanic while stable, is quite dull. Regardless, I’d still confidently recommend this game to fans of the anime especially, though I’d probably wait for a sale first.

With a gameplay that does not take long to fall into repetitiveness, in part due to its scarce game modes, as well as a much more moderate fanservice than in the animated serie, there are few reasons that could lead someone to be interested in the new Honey ∞Parade Games.

Although the game has a number of flaws and runs really slow in comparison to alternative racing games, Kandagawa Jet Girls was fun to play thanks to the intertwining arcs and multitude of customisation options – I also enjoyed the mini-games. The character models are all well-done and the physics on each of the six limbs are very realistic and nice to watch in motion, but the game itself is far too slow. I was hoping for Mario Kart and Wave Race speeds but we ended up with Mario Kart at 50cc with four flat tires. No, that’s a bit unfair, maybe three flat tires? If you play it in chunks and enjoy the stories being told, you’ll get more out of the game rather than expecting a fast, exciting arcade racer.

Admittedly, Kandagawa Jet Girls is not the most difficult racing game out there, but it does have a surprising amount of depth to the actual gameplay mechanics. There is plenty of fanservice in its anime-styled cast, and while the story itself was not riveting by any means, I had a good deal of fun with the game itself.

Even with the demanding challenge of producing a good game, Kandagawa Jet Girls managed to succeed. There are some problematic aspects such as level of difficulty, loadings and other details. Even so, in the end, the experience is good and fun, as we have several missions and options to play, as well as a lot of content to unlock. It is recommended for fans of Senran Kagura, for racing games fans or lovers of anime in general.

Kandagawa Jet Girls is an immensely fun racing game with some unfortunate problems that hold it back from being great. The performance and AI can be fixed with patches, but the game still gets very repetitive and same'y towards the end. I would love to see a sequel to this game some day that fixes the problem this game had whilst expanding the scope.

The game has an innteresting mix of genres which involves aqua motorsports and shooting action. Kandagawa Jet Girls tries to push this unbalanced mixture all while allowing the gamers to fully customize their characters and their 'Jets' till their hearts desire. Variety of different modes somewhat allows this overwhelming experiment into a bucket of creative ideas, which at least provides some much needed gameplay hours.

Kandagawa Jet Girls is a solid but too easy arcade racer that doesn’t quite deliver on fan-service but still manages to offer a great collection of characters.
