Outriders Reviews
Outriders is far from perfect. But a game doesn't have to be when it facilitates such a high degree of fun and interesting gameplay mechanics.
I would recommend Outriders to those that are looking for a new take on The Division. If you can put up with the bland story, you might really enjoy Outriders’ gameplay. It’s a pretty typical looter shooter with a decent co-op mode, especially if you have friends.
Outriders tend to suffer at some points, as well as other cases of games that have mirrored established franchises. The game manages to be successful in taking references and using them to follow its own path. Its frantic gameplay, the protagonist's distinctive charisma, the absence of microtransactions and a robust and complete story, unlike other games that tend to divide the content, help to balance these points, making the experience promising and attractive for veterans and beginners who seek a friendly gateway to the genre.

Outriders has been struggling with various problems since launch. The servers are now stable, at least I can speak for Xbox and Stadia, and fortunately I have been spared the worst bugs. The developer "People Can Fly" works daily in the background on the stability as well as availability of the game and keeps the community up to date at all times. You can get first-hand information via Twitter and Reddit. With Outriders, a shooter was created that unites gamers of all platforms via crossplay, but unfortunately does not support crosssave. Personally, I'm extremely annoyed that you have to collect the mods again for each character. After more than 50 hours, I still don't have all of them from level 2, let alone the third. The story surprised me because it's actually pretty good. I didn't expect to be served a viable story to such a shooter. Not one sequence or conversation did I want to skip, which is saying a lot. I'm having an incredible amount of fun with Outriders, but you also have to be patient, because not everything runs as smoothly as the developer would like. Especially a bug that deletes your entire inventory is still being acutely analyzed, although changes have already been made on the server side. Therefore, I only recommend Outriders to a limited extent. If you can wait, you should do so at the moment. In a few weeks, the shooter will surely run very stable and largely bug-free. If you disregard the problems and think a few weeks into the future, Outriders is/will be a clear buy recommendation.

Outriders is a fresh, entertaining and fun game in its playability, but with a visual design and a plot that does not surprise or attract attention, full of clichés and elements that we have already seen before in many games. The combat system is quite deep and allows to develop the characters in a very particular way. Unfortunately its many glitches and performance issues take their toll on the title.

In spite of the weak story and awful launch state, Outriders still manages to be a compelling and rewarding looter shooter.
*Updated 4/28/2021: Constant nerfs to the power fantasy in some weird attempt to force in unneeded longevity has killed the game for me. Instead of buffing they are nerfing and it's a terrible choice. Never before has there been such a marriage of great gameplay and truly terrible dialogue. Despite the latter Outriders is a blast to play and a no-brainer on Xbox Game Pass.
Despite the many loading screens and some issues, the game will give you hours of entertaining gameplay, it might take you a while before you shelf it.

At first glance Outriders might look like some other shooters such as Destiny or The Division, but its complicated and diverse combat help it stand alone and impress, and with some better support and polish can easily challenge other loot shooters in the market.

Outriders provides a lot of exciting clashes, but the experience of many players can be destroyed by the fight against servers. However, I believe that the Poles did not say the last word and soon all inconveniences will be eliminated.

Outriders delivers fun, varied and fast-paced combats in a pseudo-Earth that merges intriguing sci-fi and fantasy elements; provided that you have a stable internet connection to boot and don't mind overlooking some of the game's bland elements.
Set out on Enoch, the last bastion for the human race, in hopes of creating a better life for your fellow humans. As an Outrider, you are a specially selected team of soldiers who protect the inhabitants of Enoch from the dangers that await. Destroy as many enemies as humanly possible and equip a wide array of loot in PeopleCanFly's looter-shooter.
Outriders’ stellar gunplay and abilities make for a standout take on the cover-shooter genre, even though the overall experience is dragged down by server instability.
Despite its constant flaws and lack of originality, Outriders is a very fun game that manages to bring together the best elements of various contemporary titles

Outriders is a fun looter-shooter game where both the action and RPG parts of the formula are exceedingly well done. It does falter at the endgame, though, and it comes with a myriad of technical issues, not to mention an antiquated world structure; bear all of that in mind if you're looking to purchase at full price.
Outriders is a perfect storm. A shiny new game to show off these new consoles. The fact that it launched day and date onto Game Pass has definitely helped with its success, as has the fact that gamers are hungry for new experiences. I will likely be playing a bunch of Outriders in 2021, and that speaks volumes to its longevity. I hope the team continues to expand on the title as we move through the year, as I look forward to coming back to it for quite some time.
While familiar and somewhat basic, Outriders has a lot of riveting action and a compelling gameplay loop that will satisfy people looking for their next looter shooter fix.
Outriders is much more than meets the eye. People Can Fly have done a superb job to deliver a self-sustaining looter shooter that manages to come up with some great ideas.

Outriders delivers satisfying combat but suffers from a lackluster story. For co-op players, there’s a lot to entertain you here and the banter will help fill in the duller moments. The grind is also less intense than in similar experiences. What’s more, a bonus nod has to be given for this title’s completeness at launch.
Outriders ends up being a surprisingly addictive experience that mixes in intense shootouts, a unique mix of class-based abilities, a healthy loot system, and a fun approach to upgrading your skills/gear. Exploring every nook and cranny of Enoch brings you to an assortment of different climates and locales, plus you’ll come to enjoy most of the personalities you’ll interact with within each one.
