Ghostrunner Reviews
The hard thing about Ghostrunner is that it's brutal, deceptively complicated and a blast once you get it down. Those learning might be turned off by the brutally accurate AI, easy deaths, and repeated failures. Still, it's a neat game that certainly has a place and is a lot of fun to both play and watch.
A demanding skill-based experience, Ghostrunner makes you feel like a cyberpunk ninja. Thanks to the quick restarts, and generous checkpoints, the game never feels overwhelming or unfair. The 17 levels took me close to twelve hours to complete but depending upon your skill level. If you search around for collectibles during the platforming sections, it could be a shorter/longer experience. The enemy variety and ever-changing visual aesthetic for each area of The Tower keeps the game from feeling like a chore. The synthwave cyberpunk soundtrack by Daniel Deluxe fits well with the impressively sharp visuals.
Remorselessly fun, Ghostrunner makes a good argument for bringing a sword to a gunfight.
It can be frustrating, but Ghostrunner is an excellent game that combines fast-paced action combat with a compelling game world that any fan of action games or cyberpunk should enjoy.
Ghostrunner has focused itself on bringing a precisely sculpted, fast, action puzzler that wonderfully blends all its design and action with the beautiful visuals and a banging soundtrack.
One goal, one shot, one life; reaching the goal in Ghostrunner takes a lot of tries but also involves lots of fun.
In Ghostrunner, a single slash divides life and death. It's fast, frenetic, and, even in the face of its weaker moments, endlessly satisfying.
If you are looking for tons of adrenaline, Ghostrunner is one of the best choices you can make, as it is and action platformer filled with excitement.

There is no doubt that Ghostrunner is aimed at veterans. Combat is dynamic, fast, and decisive. Platforming requires perfect precision, and the puzzles are there to give you a breather. It's unbalanced at times, but a great experience nonetheless.

It is a great game to play these days when we long for the cyberpunk theme.

The new Ghostrunner game can be a pain in the stomach sometimes, but at the same time it's one of the most unique first person action games that offers tons of fast-paced, fun gameplay.

If you want a surprise entry in the action genre, look no further than the fast and frenetic Ghostrunner. Granted, its difficulty curve will frustrate you not unlike a Souls-like game, but once you get to the rhythm and groove of it, you'll ace it and aim for a better run.
Ghostrunner's fusion of parkour and one-hit kill gameplay makes for a challenging but brilliant experience worth checking out.
Ghostrunner is an incredibly addictive action game that requires a high level of skill for its difficult systems. It’s unforgiving in that regard, but it does a great job of teaching the player how to master each element to become a parkour badass with a sword. There are some moments where the action is brought to a halt due to layout, but there’s honestly nothing standing in your way from getting the most out of this adventure. Well, only if you aren’t counting the hundreds of enemies and obstacles ready to take you down.
The climb up to Dharma Tower is a raw, frustrating but also definitely satisfying experience. In Ghostrunner you’ll find yourself facing the same levels again and again in order to follow them through, in an entirely cyberpunk-themed trial and error. Overall, this is a valid product that focuses mainly on the gameplay and level design which is perfectly calibrated, and a bit less on the graphic and artistic side. Arm yourselves with lots of patience and, possibly, some extra control pads.

Ghostrunner offers a nice cyberpunk adventure for patient players with it's fast action and next generation updates. It's not for every player, but it's definitely an experience that should be tried.

Ghostrunner originally launched a year ago on last-generation consoles and had a lot of buzz surrounding its fast-paced parkour platforming, stylish action, and the one-two punch of its cyberpunk aesthetic and banger-filled soundtrack. An enhanced version was then released at the end of September for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, allowing for up to 120 frames-per-second in 4K, 3D audio, raytracing, and near-instant load times. Going from the start menu to loading on my recent save took just 4 seconds!
I’d love to be better at the game, but that seems unlikely to happen. With that being said, I would still heartily recommend it… provided you keep in mind the frequent dying and need for precision timing etc… if that sort of challenge is up your alley then I think you will find a lot of fun here!
A title that tests one's ability to focus on a goal without giving up. At any cost. Even if it were necessary to leave the computer paused for hours, to not lose the progress made in that level. Nothing new, neither as gameplay nor as atmosphere, but overall it is pleasant... if you got the patience of the dolphin Jones.

Ghostrunner is a very well-made game with excellent graphics and tight controls, but it's often frustrating, with a very uneven difficulty curve and some horribly tedious sections. Plus, once you're done with the campaign, all that's left is to do it again.
