Ride 4 is a racing game made only for racers. This isn't your casual "have a few friends over, have a couple drinks and mess around" type of game like Mario Kart, it's a picky, sensitive, intricate, realistic, and truly beautiful game. It is tough to play. It's not friendly to new players, but to the experienced racer, it would be tough to imagine what improvements could be made to a completed work of art such as this. To them, it's nigh on perfection.

A true and gorgeous recreation of motorcycle racing. Scratch beneath the surface though and you'll more than a few chinks.

Ride 4 is a simulator with all the letters, with capital letters and you will like it no matter how many times it mistreats you.

Ride 4 is one of the best motorcycle racing game ever. Visually great and superb in terms of handling, Milestone did a great job delivering a fantastic experience on the track. The career is a little bit underwhelming in terms of design, but the game is still great to play.

Ride 4 on PlayStation 5 is the best version of an already gorgeous motorcycle sim. The DualSense's haptic feedback brilliantly amplifies every sensation, and the game runs at a smooth 60 frames per second and beautiful 4K resolution. Milestone has employed effectively the next-gen capabilities offered by Sony's flagship console, offering console owners the first, spectacular example of what the future has in store for asphalt racing.

I salivate over great racing title’s, Forza being one of my favourite franchises of all time, but the Ride series has proven that it has a place among the very best within it’s respected genre.

A series that is confirmed as a monument in honor of motorcycling. RIde 4 aims at total identification with a pilot on two wheels. The player has the opportunity to ride numerous types of vehicles in circuits all over the world made in great detail. Hard, cynical and merciless: we are facing the maximum expression of simulation on two wheels.

Ultimately, Ride 4 is a rare beast: a motorcycle racing game with the potential for mass appeal and difficulty that is open to all. Personally, while I am a fan of racing games in general, I have always struggled with vehicles of the two-wheeled variety. They have been so unforgiving and can be quite isolating, requiring far too much effort for the casual gamer. Not with Ride 4 though. This is a genuinely fun and well-crafted racer with the potential for immense longevity, both in single player and multiplayer. As motorcycle racing games go, this very well might be the best I have ever played.

Milestone brings us Ride 4, an example that motorcycle racing has a lot to give. A simulator with all the letters with a great catalog of motorcycles and an extraordinary visual section.

With RIDE 4 the virtual centaur goes to heaven. The latest Milestone work is simply what every fan of two wheels and video games needs, the top for rideability, bike park and track selection. The driving pleasure at the center of a project that also technically shows itself in dazzling form, soon becoming a refuge for those who love two wheels. It is therefore a pity that the purchase of new cars depends on advances in a career anchored in classic game design concepts, not to say old, yes fun but penalized by naivety such as too mechanical an AIS and penalties all too severe for trivial errors. Despite these critical issues, we are in front of one of the best courses of the generation, very much cared for in presentation and gameplay. A consecration.

If you are all hot and bothered by the thought of tearing past some United Kingdom pastures at 240+kph on a crotch rocket with the best visuals of any two-wheeled racing game yet, RIDE 4 for PC and next-gen consoles needs to be on your shortlist. While I found the first-person cameras lead me to slower lap times, they were my preferred way to crash the bikes. I’ve still yet to win at the Isle of Man on a modern bike, but hopefully, that time arrives soon. 8/10 Ninja wheelies

Ride 4 on PS5 is gorgeous. The textures are stunning, as are the bikes, and the improvements to how it runs are more than noticeable. That said, it still suffers from its tricky handling around corners and an irritating penalty system.

RIDE 4 is the best-looking bike-based racing game yet, and the visuals are backed-up by handling and physics that have been noticeably fine-tuned. This is about as good as it gets for those who like donning virtual leather and tearing up a track on just two wheels, providing they’re not too fussed about human competition.

If you have a PS5 or Xbox Series X, there’s never been a better time to play RIDE 4. It’s a challenging racer that may drive you up the wall at times, but it’s so rewarding when you finally tame the bikes in your garage and start being able to truly compete. It’s just a shame that, since its last-gen launch last October, nothing has been done to bolster its online offerings or make it a little bit easier for new players to get onboard. Still, the best bike-based racing game has assuredly just got better. If you love bikes, you need RIDE 4; it’s as simple as that.

A deeply customizable driving experience, good technical production values and some welcome additions like endurance races and dynamic weather and day/night cycle make RIDE 4 one of the best moto racers around, even if some flaws and a reduced bikes list keep it from reaching higher spots.

Ride 4 is a truly enjoyable motocross simulation with plenty of unique race types and a wide variety of laps and motorcycles. However, the overall difficulty and autopilot could use some adjustments.

Milestone offers us a new installment of its famous simulator, this time with more realism than ever thanks to its new mechanics. With more than 120 motorcycles and 27 circuits, this is the most complete installment of the saga, although it is scarce in game modes and its learning curve is quite hard.
