Crown Trick presented the Roguelike style of games in a distinctive and beautiful way with a variety of items and weapons, but there is a problem in loading trenches that may sometimes make you close the game completely and it was rather annoying, personally the game is one of the games that impressed me with its design and gameplay.

The ever-changing labyrinth, brimming with creative design choices, renders Crown Trick greater than the sum of its parts. There is only ever a dull moment when the player gets very, very unlucky. Otherwise, the game is a revolving door of “wow” encounters, colorful combat, and epic loot drops. It’s the amalgamation of turn-based RPGs, Chess, and dungeon crawlers in one erratic rogue-lite package. So if you want to exercise that brain matter, feel free to give this experience a go.

Crown Trick has all the elements to succeed as a roguelite dungeon crawler: addictive gameplay, randomized dungeons and enemies, and a huge variety of monsters and weapons. However, with a market getting saturated by an endless number of similar titles, it does little to make itself stand out with its generic story and presentation.

A well designed, turn-based roguelike with a winning art style and a wide variety of options – even if it is a bit too random.

Despite these drawbacks, Crown Trick very quickly dug its claws into us. While it may not be everyone and isn't as approachable as other recent attempts at the genre, it's unashamedly challenging in all the right ways. It has a beautiful art style, a fantastic soundtrack, complex gameplay and an addictive loop that will make you want to have just 'one more go'. It's a perfect Xbox Game Pass title and a fantastic game in its own right.

Crown Trick is a very cute, addictive and thoughtful game with a small number of problems. The biggest one lays in the dungeons' sameness.

With challenging combat and witty history, Crown Trick impresses mainly for its diversity, being highly recommendable to all subjects. The journey lasts for hours, with an intriguing narrative and inventive combat mechanics, even combining several different elements. With that, a mature, consistent and very demanding game is developed, formed by curious unions.

Crown Trick is a solid roguelike that stands out from the rest of the crowd, but is a bit sparse in the terms of content.

So where's that leave us? I mean, overall, I had a really good time with Crown Trick! It's a classic style roguelike with some solid modernizations. I love the art style, and while its permanent upgrades are all pretty standard stuff (go in with more healing elixirs! Keep some of your currency across runs!), they do a lot to make the genre feel more... achievable by mere mortal man.

A Rouge-Like cross between Braid and Bastion, that's a good thing (without Ron Perlman's voice... that's a bad thing :( )

While not perfect, Crown Trick has managed to give a unique rogue-like experience to a genre oversaturated with copy-paste ideas.

Crown Trick is a stylish and strategic roguelite that slows the usually frenetic pace of its genre down and introduces some rhythmic turn-based battling to proceedings. Elle's ability to blink around arenas, combined with the plethora of powers she gains from the many weapons, relics and familiars she encounters along the way, also adds plenty of variety and flexibility to the runs you'll make here. There are some UI niggles that need addressing, the inherently random nature of the core gameplay can plague proceedings now and again and busy battles can become hard to read at times but, overall, this one's a very solid effort that fans of roguelites should definitely check out.

Crown Trick uses turn-based movement and roguelike elements to create an exciting dungeon crawler. The highly tactical combat is its biggest highlight: simple concept mechanics and a wide range of skills allow you to build different strategies, and it is very rewarding to create devastating elemental combos. The challenge is intense and fair most of the time, but peaks of difficulty and unbalanced aspects are a little uncomfortable. In addition, an interesting world, great visuals and a clear interface make exploration enjoyable. In the end, the result is a remarkable, intense and engaging experience - I keep trying to escape the Nightmare World even after countless defeats.
